Place can be used for many different things. My personal favorite is when it’s family time and we’re having dinner and my dog can still be included- without the begging!

One of the harder breeds to work with as they aren’t usually toy or food driven. Oreo here is taking leaps and strides in his time here with me.
We’ve successfully got to a point where he’s no longer dragging on leash. We’ve improved our obedience and listening skills. Here we’re pushing on off leash concept while still reinforcing our obedience. He’s such a fun dog to work! I had to slim down an 8 minute video into 1 minute for Facebook 🤣

What is the “place” command?
In dog training this command instructs a dog to go to a designated spot (higher the elevation the easier for the dog to understand) with out coming off of it until they are released! Your dog can changes its position to become more comfortable (sit, stand, down) but they are taught to respect the boundary of not coming off!
