Stuart is a stunning Powderpuff little guy. He is well socialized and loves adults and children. He is up to date on all vaccines and is micro chipped. His parents have been genetically test and are clear.

Good afternoon Crestie lovers. Today I want to talk about dental health in our naked and pp babies. Dental health is probably the single most concern for Crestie lovers and parents. Regular dental checkups (at least once per year) is essential in raising a healthy dog. Missing teeth, in particular, are so commonly found in the Chinese Crested dog that they are not even penalized in show. So be proactive, brush you're crestie's teeth and see the Vet at least once per year.

Hi Crestie lovers! Today I want to touch on the need and advantages of genetic testing. We all want our fur babies to have a health happy life. A responsible breeder will have had their Crestie tested or their parents have been tested(and cleared) for genetic issues. With Cresties a must for genetic testing is PRA/PRCD and PLL. PRA/PRCD test for Progressive Retinal Atrophy and Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration. PLL test for Primary Lens Luxation. I my opinion these 3 genetic test are very important. Don't support a breeder who (1) has not taken the time to research and know the breed, (2) Doesn't have healthy babies.
In short know your breed. Do your research.

Hi everyone! Welcome to my page. 18 years ago my husband and I welcomed our first Chinese Crested baby into our family. His name was Beauregard or Beau for short. He was a gorgeous black/white PP little guy. To say the least I was smittened from the second I laid eyes on him. Back then breeders were tight lipped and didn't share info. I did a enormous amount of research and share what I know in hopes of helping everyone raise a healthy, happy baby. Knowledge is power and together by sharing we can make this wonderful breed as healthy as possible.
