Guess who is loving his new home?! Nero! (Dax took a new name and he loves it!) I was thrilled to hear from his new family giving me updates on how Nero is feeling. Dax!! You did it!! Yesterday we met with Cameron, Aliyah and their pup Khan. Dax and Khan played and settled together wonderfully!! Dax rolled on his back for Cameron and Aliyah to give him belly rubs. Today they came back for Dax and just look at his face! He is going home!!! I am going to miss playing with Dax but my heart is happy knowing he is with his family now.

We have 2 vacations coming up where we will be fishing on a boat, hiking and being crated at Airbnb. I have been helping the boys prepare with more crate time and longer intervals in their crate; both while I am home and away from home. I have also been desensitizing and conditioning them to their life vests and cooling mats. I’m also teaching them to drink from water bottle attached to crate just to see if we can make them work.

Groot was thrilled to visit all his kindergarten friends at Douglas Elementary in Mrs. Richards class. He was so happy to get out of his crate, out of the house and back to doing what he loves; Therapy Dog Volunteering! I have missed it too!

Floki got to meet a celebrity!! The man that saved the duck and other animals from the burning Pet Store building!! He’s a Hero! Jimmy Boekeloo!!! He asked Floki, who’s your best friend and Floki didn’t hesitate to show him his new trick. So cool!

Daisy came to visit us yesterday and wow did she really lift our spirits! We had a delightful Sniffari at the canal, snuggled in a dog pile when we got home and played a fun game of tug before we took her home. Groot was so happy to see his best friend!!!
