Happy Monday everyone! ❤️ Meet Kramer! ❤️ A super close friend of the clinic! Did you know that today is National Golden Retriever Day?

Golden Retriever's have always been one of America's most popular breeds. These members of the Sporting Group have a LOT of energy and need plenty of exercise and activity!

These dogs exemplify the title of "Man's Best Friend". All around the world, Golden Retrievers help out people in various roles such as hunting, acting as service and therapy dogs for those with disabilities, and assisting search and rescue teams!

These guys deserve all the love we can give them!

✨️Our office will be closing today at 3pm and will be closed all day tomorrow January 1st! As we close out on 2024 it was another wonderful year of meeting new clients and new patients and we can't thank you all enough for the support of our little hospital ♥️ we are excited to see what 2025 holds in store for us. Wishing you all a very happy and healthy new year from the staff at Copper Ridge!!✨️

We will resume normal business hours on Thursday January 2nd at 9am! 😊

We also have some unfortunate news!

We are sorry to inform all of you that as of January 1, 2025, we will be applying a 3% transaction fee to all transactions made by credit card. We were hoping to avoid applying this fee in our business but as a small business, the rising fees put in place by the credit card processing company has forced us into this predicament. Transactions made by cash and/or check will not be subject to this fee.

We apologize for this inconvenience but we thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Maddy and all of us here at Copper Ridge want to give a giant THANK YOU to everyone who donated or bought a blanket to help Matilda! Her surgery went well, and although it'll take time to see how large of a difference this will make in her life, we are all extremely hopeful that she'll be a whole new woman soon! Thank you all so much for your support!

P.S. don't mind her hair cut!

It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas, here at the clinic ✨️🎄

And Demi has gotten the blessing bins filled and ready! Thanks to everyone's help and donations! We were able to pair with God's Country Animal Transportation again this year and offer pet supplies to those in need in our community!
Bins contain mainly pet food and other supplies and goodies!

They are located in the front entrance of the building and are available to the public during normal business hours which is Monday-Friday 9-5!!
✨️There are cat and dog bins. As well as some beds! We will do our best to keep the bins filled the whole month of December as long as supplies last! Happy Monday!

Meet Matilda! Matilda is a beautiful young lady, only 7 months old, and belongs to our very own technician Maddy! Matilda has recently been diagnosed with mulitple issues and it is likely that if left unchecked, her condition could greatly worsen and she would be unlikely to live a full life. You can see in her photos below how far she's come already! Matilda is scheduled to have corrective surgery with a specialist in the beginning of December, and to raise money for the operation, Maddy has been making and selling pet blankets which you can see below!

They come in various colors and two sizes: Small (24 X 24) for $20 and Large (36 X 36) for $30! These blankets are super comfy (as you can see, they're clinic cat approved) and the money goes to a great cause! They make a great Christmas gift for the dog or cat lover in your life! If you'd like to purchase one, please stop by the clinic and let us know! We have some here ready to go and Maddy is making more all of the time! Even if you choose not to purchase one, we would appreciate if you could share this post!

Thank you all for your consideration! When one of our own needs help, we want to do all that we can to help them out!

Did you know that prior to the United Stated joining World War 2, the united states military officially owned only a few sled dogs for use in arctic regions?

On July 16, 1942, an official directive was issued to the Quartermaster Corps of the military which assigned them the role of procuring and training canines for various roles in the military, such as patrolling and sentry duties. Though dogs have been man's best friend from time immemorial in both times of peace and war, they never held an official position in our country until very recently.

With Veteran's Day passing so recently, we wanted to share a little bit of history of canine involvement in our military. We here at Copper Ridge Veterinary Clinic support and respect all of our veterans and current service members as well as their families. That includes our 4 legged veterans and active military canines!

Many of you know we have 3 amazing clinic cats! ❤️🐱

Little Tonks, our sweetest and more shy girl has had some health scares this past week. And could use some prayers and good vibes sent her way. Dr. Shanaberger and the staff will do whatever we can for our girl! Send some well wishes over for Tonks as she needs all the support she can get. We love our clinic cats endlessly!!! They complete our family here at Copper Ridge Veterinary!

Halloween is almost here!

You all know that we love the holidays around here! This Tuesday (October 29) evening from 6 PM – 8 PM, we will be giving out gift bags for kids, dogs, and cats! These cute treat bags were put together by our very own technician Maddy!

We’d love to see you come out and pay us a visit! Costumes aren’t required but are encouraged! As much as we love seeing your pets, we also understand that traveling to the Vet with a pet can be a complicated or stressful process (especially for cats!), so even if you can’t bring your pet, feel free to stop in and grab a treat bag!

We could not be more thrilled to announce that we have been voted Best In Fayette in THREE categories: Best Veterinary Clinic, Best Place to Work, and Best in Pet Services!

When we opened our doors in 2022, we made a commitment to providing fantastic, empathetic care to our community and building relationships with owners that love animals as much as we do. Our mission statement, "Treating Your Pets Like Family By Inviting Them Into Ours", is something all of us take to heart. We always give 110% to live up to that ideal and make all of our clients and patients feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable. In a world where many small businesses struggle to stay afloat, it means the world to us to have the support of all of you. We offer the deepest, most heartfelt "Thank You!" to everyone who took the time to vote for us.

We'd also like to extend an amazing thank you to our team. It's such a pleasure that the announcement of our winning the Best In Fayette falls within Vet Tech Week. It's easy to abide by our mission statement when our team feels like such a family already. To come to a workplace everyday knowing that each person there loves you and appreciates your efforts is a benefit that some people may never experience. We count ourselves lucky to work in an environment that lets us be ourselves and work cohesively toward the amazing goal of providing great care to our local community pets. We'd never be where we are without the dedication of our team. Thank you all!

We can't forget to thank Doctor Shanaberger. The leader of our amazing team, the most compassionate and hardworking doctor that we have the privilege to know, and a hero to puppies and kitties everywhere. Even while living with the stress of planning a wedding this entire year, Doctor Shanaberger never lost focus for her drive for animal healthcare. We all rolled our eyes as we watched her answer medical questions at her wedding reception, never taking a night off from her passion. Thank you, Doctor Shanaberger for working tirelessly and going above and beyond to help every animal that crosses your path.

We could NEVER forget to thank our favorite employees. Clinic cats Crookshanks, Tonks, Hootie, and clinic dog Claire NEVER take a day off and are always ready to help out. From greeting all of you in the waiting room and at the reception desk to sticking their paws under the door to your exam room to make sure that they don't go longer than 2 minutes without attention, our clinic cats put in the work every day to ensure our clinic is anything but boring.

Once again, THANK YOU! We would be nothing without our clients and their furry friends. We promise to work everyday to live up to the title of Best In Fayette! And a huge thank you to all other veterinary professionals in our area! We know that we aren't the only passionate veterinary professionals in the area and your work is so important. We all want the same thing: providing great care to as many members of our community as we can! Thank you for your service to our community and we're glad to work with all of you!

We need your help!

I hope you're all having a good weekend! A friend of ours found this poor lost dog near the Connellsville Street Dairy Queen in the Lemont Furnace area. We're hoping we can get her back with her owner! If you have any information or know the owners, please contact us at our clinic at 724-434-8296! Thank you!

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

✨️We are pairing with God's Country Animal Transportation for a pet food/supplies drive for animals in need in Florida and surrounding states due to hurricane devastation!!! It's an honor to be able to help those in need and work together as a community ❤️

✨️If you are interested in donating cat or dog food or cat litter! You can drop supplies off at the clinic, just let the front desk staff know and we will get it loaded up! We have a third party that is sending trucks down to affected areas every Sunday to help livestock in need as well as pets such as dogs and cats. Pet owners and Shelters in the areas will need all the resources and help they can get from outside states! Please consider donating! Any brand of food, dry or canned food would be greatly appreciated!! ❤️ 🐶🐱

PLEASE SHARE!!!
When dropping off donations you can ask for Demi!! Thank you all.
