This handsome man is Duke! His brindle coloring is so beautiful! He loves to play with toys, lay on the couch and watch TV. He is house trained. Crate trained. He is iffy with other dogs so best to get all your love. He is most likely a Mastiff/Pit mix. He is GIANT. Was 115 pounds back in July.

🙏🏻🐈🙏🏻 FOSTERS NEEDED🙏🏻🐈🙏🏻There is a home with 40 cats in it. We are trying to help some of the other local rescues by taking in a couple of these kitties. If anyone is willing to help foster a cat or two, please text Meghan at 847-770-3208. These are said to be social kitties but may have some cold symptoms (based on rhe photos) we will need to treat. Here are a few pics as examples (can’t guarantee which ones will be available as It is constantly changing with a number of rescues trying to help)

Teddy is a one year old male Husky. He actually has no quirks (we know rare for husky) and he LOVES dogs. He was an ESA (certificates do not transfer but could reapply) and he’s been extremely well socialized with other dogs and kids. His owner sadly passed and he needs our help finding someone to love him as much as she did. He’s a very fun, gentle, sweet guy. House trained. He is very content laying around the house and does not have the crazy husky energy ❤️

Meet Novie, the ultimate attention-seeker who lives for human love! 🐾 Novie is a 1.5 year old female Retriever mix but smaller! This sweet girl is all about cuddles, playtime, and being your one and only best friend. She’ll follow you everywhere, tail wagging, just waiting for you to give her some love. Novie is playful, silly, and always up for a game, but when it comes to other dogs... well, she’s too busy focusing on YOU to care about them! She could benefit from some training to not be intimidated by other dogs. She does great with the dog in the home but can get scared and attack others outside the home. She is house and crate trained. Knows basic commands such as sit, jump and paw. She is not a barker. If you're looking for a dog who’ll fill your life with affection and joy, Novie’s your girl. ❤️🐶

She adores playing ball but watch your fingers so she doesn’t get them when trying to grab the ball from you! She is crate trained and enjoys it, potty trained, and really enjoys playing and running with her kids in the back yard! She loves to be a part of everything and will be your shadow!

🐾ADOPTABLE❤️❤️❤️

Looking for a beast? I mean big dog?!?! Sourdough aka Duke is a 98 pound pit mix. He is 1.5 years old and still acts like a playful puppy! He loves to run and play in the yard, play fetch, and chew on his bones. He would do best with a fenced yard as he really enjoys that off leash freedom although he does well on leash also. He is crate trained, housebroken and is left in home alone all day without incident. He knows basic commands such as sit, shake, lay, touch. He has been with children as young as 3 and love everyone. Will play nip if chasing the kids running around. He is good with large dogs but he is too large to be with small breeds.
