My nephews and just finished their first Ironman at Penn state university today…1.2 swim, 56 bike and 13 running. I got tired sitting in the couch tracking them. Proud uncle here!

Sometimes s**t happens. I mistakenly left my eggs on the dining room table last night. It had one pair of hatchlings. Apparently at some point last night the cat thought they were better on the floor and knocked it off. All are fine but all mixed up. I’m guessing the jolt of hitting the floor caused 16 babies to hatch all laid from 2/28-3/12. Some babies were in sections with no eggs, some were in sections where no eggs hatched etc etc etc. so slowly figuring out who goes where. Luckily there was one Lilly paring. One frap pairing. One cap pairing and one dal pairing. They will mostly get figured out. The rest will just end up no lineage. At least all are alive. It could have been much worse….

Today our cat Simba left us. I feel a big whole in my heart as I sit on the couch and she is not on my lap. I was never a huge cat person, but she made you love her. Going to miss her sitting in my lap pushing my face with her paw till I petted her. She was never sick a day until now and it was upper respiratory. Nineteen years 3 months ago I found her and her literates in a pot while working in Home Depot. Thanks for picking me Simba!
