For today’s Unmounted Class we shed out some of the retired pasture horses while discussing seasonal considerations when caring for horses. We covered many topics including how and why horses grow and shed their coats, ways to manage mud, blanketing, clipping, fly control, seasonal diet changes, and much more. The pasture horses loved all the attention and their coats looked much better when we were done. 🥰🐴

We have been having some variety in our lessons- inside, outside, groundwork, and horsemanship. 🥰🐴 Actually, we always have variety in our lessons! Horses are multidimensional partners and it's important to understand them in as many ways as possible. :)
