We are thrilled to be offering date nights! Tara and Eric Sweat enjoyed our first date night ever. There’s just something about a good meal featuring breathtaking views throughout the farm and finishing up with a ride off into the sunset! Big news! We are now going to be running Equine Assisted Learning programs! This has been a lifelong dream. In this new adventure we will provide educational experiences using life skills through positive interactions with the horses that will encourage leadership, trust, communication, individual/team growth, and so many more great things that everyone can use in our daily lifestyles. We plan to team up and offer different programs working with therapy centers dealing with mental health issues, churches, schools, businesses looking for team growth/development, and much more. Equine assisted learning can help so many different people, this program will be able to benefit anyone wanting to strengthen their skills or discover new growth! I truly believe everyone can learn something from the horse. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me. Big thanks to Dreamwinds Equine Assisted Learning Centre for making this possible!

Summer is almost here which means it’s time for horse camp!! There are a few spots left available for each camp! Give your kids something to do this summer with a wonderful experience riding horses. We welcome beginners up to experienced kids. We focus on each kid individually making it possible to improve everyones riding skills whether they have rode their whole lives or never rode a horse ever, all while meeting new friends at camp, and having loads of fun. ☀️⭐️

I find it crazy that it is coming up on being a year of this business starting… My side hustle I had so much passion for is now turned into my full time job. If you asked me a year ago if I thought I’d be running my own business and that’s all I would be doing I’d tell you that you was crazy. God always has a plan so much greater than ours, so here I am!

I say it all the time, but it’s true. I am SO thankful and owe it to each and every person who has believed in me and supported me from the start. I’m thankful for each of you. I’m even thankful for the ones who didn’t believe in me, they have pushed me to get where I’m at today! So many dreams have came true in this barn- my own dreams and so many others dreams as well!

The smiles I’ve been able to have apart of, the friendships built, fellowship, all the cool horses I’ve got to ride, all the kids I’ve turned into ”barn mom” to- has made all of the miles driven, sleepless nights, long days, stress, ALL WORTH IT! What an incredible journey so far and I look forward to keep growing and continue to do what I love.

Thank you all for keeping me busy all the time! I love getting to share my passion with each of you. Thank you for trusting me with your babies too, whether it be kids, horses, or both. Thank you for being patient with me while I’ve figured all this out on my own. I work hard every day, and it’s not easy but I thank God everyday for letting me do this!

Looking for last minute Christmas ideas??? Or something fun for kids to do over winter break!

This is the perfect gift for any kid who has interest in horses! I will be hosting this camp which will be held in Chilhowie, VA. Kids will have a wonderful 3-Day experience with ponies, horses, donkeys, and whatever other farm animal shows up between now and then! Kids will learn basic horsemanship and riding skills for beginners or advanced! We will focus on each student individually.

To reserve a spot a $50 non refundable deposit must be paid to hold your spot.
Deposits can be made through me I accept Apple Pay, Facebook Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.
I can also meet in Chilhowie, VA.

Hurry spots will go fast! Very limited!

We have teamed up with Montana Gregor Portraits and will be offering a LIMITED number of Christmas horse mini sessions! ❤️⭐️
These would make great Christmas cards or just cute keepsake photos!
The dates we have available so far is this Sunday the 20th from 1-6 and Nov 23rd 12-5. We will be looking to hopefully fit another day or so after Thanksgiving depending on our busy schedules.

They will be 20 minute time slots, to sign up message us or text 276-698-6237.

Props can be adjusted for single portraits, couple, or family! There’s room for all ⭐️

My barn clients- if you all want to use your personal horse we can horse swap! Or if any lesson clients have a “favorite” horse they’d like to be in the picture we can arrange that!

Horse owners from outside my barn are also welcome to bring their own horse to do these with. If you choose this option, please arrive early to have the horse ready by your time slot time. 😊

This is what makes the sleepless nights, miles of driving, long barn days, ALL WORTH IT! Being in that alleyway watching one you have taught come so far and now be able to successfully ride one of your own personal top horses!

I love helping others reach their horse dreams. Whether it be just simply owning a horse, riding, barrel racing, whatever your goal might be I will help you accomplish it! Sharing my passion for these incredible animals with others is truly humbling. Seeing that drive and hunger in the eyes of so many wanting the same things I once did! Not knowing where to start? I’ve been that person which is why I chose to persue helping people in this horse world. It’s life changing for me as well as others. I’ve been able to be apart of so many peoples lives. I’ve personally watched horses change peoples lives. There is just something about a horse. Horses have changed my life and helped me through so many battles in life. They teach you responsibility, trust, patience, and so much more. We can truly learn so much from these animals God blessed us on this earth with. I’ve personally saw horses bring people out of a dark spot, giving smiles to people who haven’t smiled in while. Wonderful therapy animal for many different issues. I’ve watched horses get people out of their “shell” and give them something to work towards. Horses share an incredible bond with you like nothing else.

You are never too old, or too young to start! Just do it, it’s such an amazing thing. I’ve helped so many people find their dream horse, get started with horses, competing, and much more. I even board horses, transport them and care for them. Making this as easy as possible for you to do this! I’ve helped people reach their goals with their own horses, giving them that “push” they needed boosting their skills and confidence, and SO much more!

Let me help you with whatever you need horse wise. It is something I take pride in and LOVE doing. It blesses me being able to help so many people. Message me and let’s talk horses!

Another fun weekend barrel racing with some Spur’n G Equine team members! They keep me busy on my toes and running the roads hot. Proud of all of them!

Aaliyah and Alice’s first ever barrel race. I’m proud of both of these girls. They are both very determined and love the sport. I think they are hooked now!

Kaylin and Bug are getting faster and faster each race!

Charlotte and ol faithful Tucker have overcame so much here lately and they are in the groove again!

Becky and Harley did awesome! Becky has been learning some body positioning tricks to get more speed! she gets faster each run as well. She has been on fire! She heads to NBHA Worlds next week and we wish her the best of luck 💜
