Dori, a 5 month old Sheperd mix, female pup. She is a fantastic girl. Housebroken, sweet, loves kids and other dogs and cats, if they don't run.
Dori is a stick around, chill kind of girl and is wonderful with new people and places. She rides well in the car now. ( she did get car sick in the beginning )
Her only vices are to be expected with a pup of her age. She will chew and she jumps. She is learning to chew only appropriate things and to stop jumping. It will take consistancy to nip it in the bud .
Dori is a diamond in the rough and will be a steller pet for just about anyone.

Meet Ziggy! 10 yo lab/border collie mix. UTD on vaccines and neutered. He is a well mannered and sweet dog. Walks off leash and will be perfect for someone looking for a buddy to do things outside with. He’s a bit over weight and doesn’t move fast but he’s losing weight and looking and feeling good. Ziggy gets along great with other dogs and cats and doesn’t pay too much attention to farm animals. He does not do well in a crate but can be trusted to be out in the house. Adopting a dog is one of the most compassionate things you can do. Not only does it provide a loving home for a dog in need, but it also creates a special bond between the dog and owner.

However, when people consider adopting a dog, they often gravitate toward puppies or younger dogs. While these furry friends are undoubtedly adorable, older dogs are just as deserving of love and affection.

Older dogs often have a much harder time finding homes than their younger counterparts.

Many people believe that an older dog will come with too many health problems and may not be able to integrate into their family dynamic easily. However, this couldn't be further from the truth!

In reality, older dogs tend to be calmer and more settled than puppies or younger dogs and adapt well to new environments quickly.

So if you are looking to adopt a new fur friend, please consider the older pups as well.
