Another pickup from the in Billings this month. This girl is a Normal 66% het Albino, Axanthic, and Sable, but she's got some exceptional contrast and is one of the prettiest "normals" I've ever seen. I can't wait to grow her up and see what she produces 😍

I've been told she's normally a bit spicy, but she must've decided I was supposed to be her person because she's been pretty well-mannered for me 💜

I'm currently trying to process the idea that this baby is *NOT* a keeper. I hatched so many incredible animals this year that even stunners like this one will be leaving me. I am so very lucky 💜

After a couple weeks of being sick and only being able to do the bare minimum, it feels great to be back in the reptile room. We've had quite a few babies go through their first real shed, and the colors in this room are unreal.

Our CHONKY little kink-tail baby went to his new home tonight. I'm so glad we were able to find him a home with a trusted friend that I know will take awesome care of him!

Project of the night... my neighbor found this baby in a glue trap and brought him to me. A little bit of vegetable oil and he was unstuck and in recovery.

Does anybody want to take a swing at the species? Hint: they look nothing like this guy as adults 😉.

Oof... I knew this day would come, but my heart was still not prepared. My last egg of the season did not hatch, even after all the others in the clutch were fully out, so I cut the egg to see what was going on. The poor thing was alive, but horribly deformed. I shot a quick video of his heart beating and then put the little guy out of his misery 😢.

I'll put the video in the comments for those with a scientific curiosity, but it is a bit distressing, so *WATCH AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION*

Last pips of the season are happening now. I'm excited to have everybody out so I can decide once and for all who my holdbacks are this year. This year has been incredibly rewarding, with some stunning genetics popping out. I am so fortunate.

If you bought a baby from one of last year's Chloe X Genghis (CHGE) clutches, your baby is also 50% het lavender in addition to the genetics listed when you bought them. Mama Chloe proved her lavender genetics with this year's babies!
