was created in the hopes we can find homes for all of our feline friends, and promote spay and neuter programs everywhere. Our rescue is specifically designed to work with special needs cats with behavioral problems and/or health issues. She has had many cats with health or behavioral challenges in her home long-term to work out behavioral problems, obtaining correct medications, and finding a fam

ily that is able to support their specific needs. With her passion for cats and those cats who are deemed too young, ill, injured, or old, she has discovered her passion and it has become contagious to her many fosters, volunteers, supporters, and community. We are working towards to having a feline sanctuary and adoption facility for our long-term cats. We would like to show the world that a cat’s impurrfection is, in fact, their purrfection.

Hey, our office cats, Princess (silver & white) and Sylvester (black & white) wanted to share something really cool going on here at Nova Vision Care. You see, National Kitten Day is coming up next week, and even though they aren't kittens, they thought it would be pretty cool to do a cat food drive to help support all the cats and kittens available for adoption through Purrfect Additions. That's the rescue through which they are available for adoption too.

We have collection barrels in our outer lobby, so if you would like to donate some food for the felines, please feel free to drop it off any time between now and close of business on Friday, July 11. Wet or dry food for any age cats (kittens, adults, and seniors) is appreciated.

We'll even have some kittens in the office for cuddles on National Kitten Day, Thursday, July 10.

Please help us support the sweet kitties looking for furever homes. Purrfect Additions is a 501c3 organization, and strives to help cats and kittens in need, especially special needs and medically fragile felines.

Izzy is a complex individual that requires food, personal space, and love all at her discretion. Once she's comfortable with you, she will greet you at the door and curl up on your chest. Face and head pets are her favorite. She'll purr and smile with one of her fangs out. Unfortunately for this young lady, her human mama passed away and left her with a bit of an emotional complex and nowhere to go. She'll need a little time to get cozy with you, but she will absolutely reach the point of curling up with you in bed and on the couch. Being the lady she is, she does require alone time to stare out the window or look over her kingdom from an elevated perch. If you infringe upon her alone time, she will clearly let you know with a low rumble and a potential swat. Reading her body language becomes fairly easy. Just like any person, she can get overstimulated. She's definitely not the gal for kids or too many other pets in the house. She came from an older woman without kids around, so she never experienced them. That being said, she has been sharing a house with three other cats and a small dog without too much fur flying.

If you think a strong, independent lady who knows what she wants is right for you, think about being a new parent for Izzy.

OUR JULY CALENDAR OF EVENTS!

This month were are recovering from the whirlwind of June events, and the kitties (and volunteers) are exhausted! We have two events scheduled this month and we hope that you join us!

HOLLYWOOD FEED-DAYTON: Saturday, July 12 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 6221 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45459. We will have many of our adoptable cats and kittens, as well as our merchandise.

JUBIE'S SCOOP FUNDRAISER: Wednesday, July 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 471 W Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, 45324. Please join us and our fabulous volunteers as we scoop for you. Hey for once we aren't scooping litter boxes and will be scooping your ice cream! For every purchase during our four hours, our kitties receive 10%! We aren't permitted to bring our kitties to this event but we will be happy talk cats while we work. More information will be heading your way!

MEET CYRUS AT Feeders Pet Supply IN XENIA!

Cyrus is a vocal young dude that LOVES cuddles. He’s a total cling-on and wants to be loved and near you. He might be the type of cat that you would wear if you could because he wants to be close to you all the time. He doesn’t seem to be a fan of other cats, not sure about dogs. If you have time or several people to cuddle Cyrus and don’t mind having him sleeping as close as possible to you, Cyrus could be your guy. He takes being a lap kitty to a new level.

Daisy – A darling orange tabby gal with sunshine in her whiskers and sugar in her soul. Daisy is a snugglebug with pep in her step and a knack for making anyone smile.

George – A tiger tabby lad with style and spirit. George is the life of the party—always chasing, pouncing, and playing like it’s 1925.

Gertie – Our marbled tabby gal is a little firecracker with a flair for drama and adventure. She’s curious, clever, and never turns down a game or a cuddle. (heart murmur)

Myrtle – This tortoiseshell starlet is a classy, sassy mystery. Myrtle marches to the beat of her own jazz tune and likes a good window perch with her morning gossip.

Nick – This orange tabby boy is the darling of the bunch—charming, handsome, and always looking out for his friends. A true gent with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops swishing. (eye scarring)

Tom – Smooth as black velvet and twice as sweet, Tom is your classic quiet gentleman. He loves a cozy lap and a slow dance (or nap) under the moonlight.

The biggest of the bunch, Fang is a lovable goofball, much like Hagrid’s gentle giant of a dog. He adores attention and will likely grow into a big, soft-hearted kitty.

Small but mighty! Pigwidgeon, named after Ron’s tiny owl, is full of zest and boundless energy. He’s always ready to zoom around and then collapse into your lap for a nap.
