URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Chattanooga, TN

*This is a bonded pair and they will need to be adopted together. The owner is surrendering them because she had to move into a small apartment, due to life changes. They need a bigger yard and she doesn’t want to take their quality of life away from them. They need to go by 2/2!*

Meet Stephen (black tri)! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Stephen is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around children or cats. He is fearful of other dogs, but warms up after a while. He is crate-trained, but isn’t housebroken. He has issues with going to the bathroom inside of the house after about 5-6 hours.

If you think you can provide a great home for Stephen and Raymond, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $300 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Stephen and Raymond.

The hardest part of being a pet guardian or rescue is making hard decisions. We do not make these decisions lightly. I always get vets recommendation and get a third party opinion. It was decided Thomas was suffering, had fiv and extensive injuries. And since feral and would have to be returned to live outside. This was best for him. Yes we cry for these babies. Once loved and thrown out to fend for themselves. Do better humans
