‼️URGENT‼️

🐾Hi everyone! One of my training clients is looking for temporary housing or longtime rehoming for her dog due to a living situation.

🐶Archie is a German Shepherd/Husky mix, approximately 2 years old, and he is neutered! He does currently live with a cat and a 3 year old child, and he does well with both. He would need proper introduction to another dog! Archie does know sit, down, place, introduction to recall, introduction to heeling, and is pinch collar trained.

⚡️Temporary rehoming would include all costs covered by his owner. His owner understands temporary rehoming is hard to come by, and is okay with permanent rehoming. No rehoming fee is required, but looking for a good home with proper care and necessities!

‼️Answer: Three boys that are CRUSHING our 12 week advanced training package!

🐶 Ouija and Brutus are two brothers, who both seem to be blaming each other for their ill behavior from time to time. With the help of their Mom and Dad, they are rocking a brush up of some things already known, advancing some basics, and even boosting some confidence!

🐶Archie is our guy going through the typical teenager boy phase who rocks that GSD/Husky mix mindset. He’s currently working on major impulse control, and overall learning how to be a good boy. When I say he learns so quick, I mean sometimes I can’t keep up! He’s already incredible, I cannot to see all what he accomplishes!

It has been two years since I gathered up the courage to launch my very own business. From the clients and their pets, to my coworkers, to my own family and friends, every single amount of support I receive will never not be grateful appreciated. I owe a hug ‘thank you’ to each and every person who likes, shares, reposts, and refers my business. These last two years would’ve never been possible without you all.

🐾 TOP PAW SPOTLIGHT 🐾

Meet Morty! Morty is a 3 y/o, rescued Cattle Dog mix. Morty just finished up his 4 week Behavioral course, and he crushed it. He struggles with “protecting” his mom from other people, and little dogs aren’t his mojo. We discussed heavily on breed mentality, breed specific enrichment, focused on working his neutrality in different settings, exposed him to a different setting to practice obedience, helped mom implement proper corrections and praise, and even got him comfortable wearing a muzzle.

🐾 TOP PAW SPOTLIGHT 🐾

Meet Ruby and Daisey! Ruby is 2 while Daisey is 4, and both are Pit mixes. These are your average antagonizer/instigator sister duo. While they both have complete opposite training styles and motivations, they are prime examples that even dogs in the same household aren’t trained the same.

These gals are in training for impulse control, learning to settle while adjusting to an off switch, and Ruby needs some help with her leash walks. Both of these gals and their family of five are crushing it already!

🐾 Welcome! As I make my way back from maternity leave, I am now accepting new owners and their dogs. Allow me to introduce myself.

🐾 My name is Kamryn and I’m the sole owner and head trainer at TASER’s Top Paw. I am originally from a small town in southern Illinois, about twenty-five minutes outside St. Louis. At 18, I decided to launch a business in hopes to help end toxic stigmas in the dog industry.

🐾 I offer balanced training unique to each dog. I use a variety of tools to include slip leashes, prong collars, and E-Collars. I stay as positive as possible to keep all of our training fun and fresh. 

🐾I’m a mom to a one month old little girl, Wrenleigh, and you can often find my significant other, Jordin, right by my side at each of your lessons being my right hand man.

🐾My pack consists of different breeds, different personalities, different assets, and most importantly-my best pals. Taser was my very first personal dog whom I took through dog training school, and the very reason I started this business.

🐾I’ve worked in doggy daycares, boarding facilities, an animal hospital-you could say I’ve seen every side to the pet industry. Canine behavior has always been my calling. I offer in home training to work at your canine’s comfort level. No canvas paints the same, but we can still achieve a Class A canine. I’m here to help each and every one of you, and I cannot wait to do so!

Meet Smokey! Smokey is a three month old, Schnauzer Poodle mix. Man oh man, this pup is a spit fire! Smokey is finishing up lessons left over from his older brother, Jake, to lay some puppy foundation. With puppy foundation, we work on sit, down, place, some leash skills, and most importantly-no jumping! He is a great way to wrap up clients before starting maternity leave!

Meet Pepper and Charlie! This sibling duo comes from a local, foster based rescue. They are Cavalier-Poodle mixes and almost two! Their owners were sent my way from a previous client when they needed help with some social cues, anxiety, and brushing up on some obedience. They started off with the Basics package, and they are killing it. No matter what I throw their way, these guys crush every obstacle!

Meet Liam! Liam is a very shy and reserved Schnauzer/Poodle mix. Liam came from a local, foster based rescue with an unknown story. What we do know is that Liam is not confident with many things other than eating plastic toys-especially Barbie dolls! When he presented with a possible blockage at a vet appointment, his mom got ahold of me to work on better management for his health and well being. Liam is taking on the Basics to focus on how to “be a dog” without destroying things and building his confidence to where he isn’t so anxious. Each week his confidence is getting stronger. I could not be more happy with the work everyone has put in, including his five year old human sister!

Meet Luna! Luna is your typical Shiba Inu puppy going through her adolescent phase. Luna has a mix of confident issues that are nothing short of situational. She also shows reactivity towards dogs larger than her especially her housemate. We started off with the Basics to get her started, and the improvement from herself and her owner are astounding! I cannot say enough good things about these guys!

Meet Oliver! Oliver is a Goldendoodle who needed help refining his basic skills, and there is not enough good things I can say about this boy! His parents wanted his jumping and distractions on walks to come to a minimum, and they chose our Basics package. To say he is crushing it, that would definitely be an understatement! Proud of their hard work and dedication!

We are officially ten days out from CHRISTMAS!!

So what does that mean? Well for some it might be an exciting time, but for those in the pet industry-it’s a very nerve racking time.

Here’s the deal: in the next few weeks, puppies are going to be exploited left and right as Christmas presents. Quite frankly, most of those puppies are going to end up in shelters before even becoming six months old. Reasons being: people fall short on money, people don’t have “enough time,” or they end up becoming tired of the responsibility.

Listen I too, was at a point where after I graduated training school, I felt like I never had enough money to even breathe. It was real, raw emotion, but I had Taser and that is honestly what got me through all of that. I too, also felt like I never had enough time, but even a ten minute session with Taser was enough to make her entire day. That is what kept me going. Sometimes, that was enough to make me forget about everything bad in the world. I too, have been tired of the responsibility. Truth is, we all get burned out, but I know I wouldn’t be who I am without the dogs that have taught me so much of what I know now.

People like myself got into this industry to help each and every one of you. If I can own three dogs-two being working dogs, still find time to train them between two jobs AND running this business, focus on my family and social life, oh and have I mentioned I have a baby on the way-it’s fully possible you are able to keep that sweet little puppy you got as a gift that turned into a lifetime commitment.
