Boy oh boy has it been a while since we posted! Here are some new thoughts — our recent product tries, stuff we found and love, and other inspiration for our furry friends.

💥Topic 1: rope leashes
Sassy Woof while we think the unicorn rope leash is super cute, we wish we didn’t cut the tag off cuz we’d like to return. The leash is much longer and heavier and girthier than any leash we ever saw. We thought they were a cute alternative to Found My Animal , namely a more accessible price point, but for a 10 lb dog, it’s extremely impractical. We hope the company will consider making thinner lighter weight leashes or manufacturing different sizes. Sleepy Cotton is also similar and gorgeous though we have yet to receive any products... we just wish they maybe made some more fun colors! Bramble and Friends has THE coolest rope leashes ever. I don’t want to pay for international shipping but these are incredibly cool and fun at least from photos.

💥Topic 2: treats

We were so incredibly excited about the treats we found at LoveThyBeast in NYC this past weekend by Polkadog Bakery. We normally like the company for their meat products, but the peanut butter pop art bag was so cute we couldn’t help ourselves. After spending $16.99 plus tax on the treats I have Riley one and he spit it out. Heart broken, money ripped up. The treats are hard like a rock and we want nothing more than a replacement or some freebies or a refund. I tried to break it up and made an absolute mess turning rocks into powder, but the flavor is good, just so stale. We dream every night that Alfa Pet was in America, along with Hugo & Celine - For Dogs. Impossible to find shark, kangaroo, etc let alone the latter’s moose, cod, salmon, etc ice cream. We think Bocce's Bakery unicorn and birthday cake treats are adorable, though at quite a steep price point. We wish our ambassador contract could be renewed with Lord Jameson Dog Wellness Company, as you really get what you pay for.

💥Topic 3: the {LOST ART of} the reversible harness

What distinguishes Bijou & Co, Lucy & Co., Pablo & Co. Boutique, Blue Paw Co., *OTHER THAN NOT ENDING IN CO* Boss and Boo, Moo+Twig, Fibi & Karl, BeanGoods, Big & Little Dogs, Frenchie Bulldog Pet Supply and all the other knock offs of each other?

Well Pablo has joe exotic *OBSESSED* tho I have tried countless times to reach out to understand why it is sold out on their website but available on Etsy; not trying to make a purchase to days later find out of stock.

While SidneyandBetty may LOOK similar, but they have much more sophisticated designs. The leopard print, confetti, party time (and any tweed) are just oh so gorgeous.

To add to the list of look alikes, look no further than the lesser known Pack Leashes, Oui Oui Frenchie, Little Lou The Brand, Island Dog Company, The Crafty Dog Co, Beast & Buckle, Hello Furry and counting.

* If any companies feel they should be differentiated or are more special than the rest, we would be happy to receive products and review. Riley is 9.5” neck and 9.7 lbs. Usually a small, sometimes a medium in clothing. Wears XXS in ruffwear. In the MEANTIME.... As far as we’re convinced, they’re all the same. UNLESS joe exotic somehow exists.

💥Topic 4: dog tags
REBEL DAWG im so excited for my tag but it seems it’s going to take ages. Would probably flip to see buzzdogco is an exact knock off, but if quality is anything, then they have some serious pull with that price differential. Newer brand, have to pay international shipping from UK, but the foundation is there. Trill Paws drake gets everyone every time. We love the beanie baby tag as well.
