Lucinda is interviewing adopters! Meet Lucinda, our Landseer beauty!! Lucinda is 4 years old and currently fostered in Portland OR. Lucinda loves to spend time with her people and adores everyone she meets. This pretty girl is learning to play with toys and to relax and enjoy the good life! She absolutely loves being near her people and is willing to follow them anywhere! Dogs: Lucinda likes other dogs, she hasn't shown us a lot of play yet, but is happy to coexist! Cats – Shows little interest in the resident cats. Manners – Lucinda knows “sit” and loves to try to catch her treats. She walks very nicely on her leash in the neighborhood and loves to take her time and do all the sniffs! Big THANK YOU to Chloe’s foster mama for going above and beyond for this sweet girl ❤️ Chloe is a 6 year old retired mama located in the Chicago area, her gorgeous coat has been shaved for hygiene but is sure to grow back as gorgeous as ever! She is sweet as can be and longs for a human who will be her everything 🥹 Chloe requires a single driver transport by her adopter from her foster home as she has anxiety in the car and will be stressed by multiple drivers/switching cars. Hey there, wonderful Newfie community. It’s me, Moonshine, the Newfie Mix, and today I want to share something that’s weighing on my heart—but in the best possible way. You see, when I first arrived at my foster home, I came with nothing but a tired body, and a lot of hurt. I had so little, and I was scared to hope for more. But then something amazing happened—you all came into my life. From the moment my foster mama told me I have gifts coming, I could hardly believe it. I now have a full belly, and will have toys to brighten my day, supplements to help me heal, and even a big, soft bed just for me. Can you imagine? From nothing to all of this—it’s more than I ever dreamed of. And it’s not just the things, it’s the love behind them. Every meal, every soft place to lay my head, every treat—it's like a little piece of hope that I never had before. But the biggest gift of all? My foster family. They’ve opened their hearts to me in a way I never thought possible. They’ve shown me what it means to be loved, truly loved, for the first time in my life. And you know what? I’m starting to believe that one day when I get healthy, I might just find my forever family. I’ve gone from a life of emptiness and struggle to one filled with warmth, care, and love. And I know that’s because of you —because you believed in me, even when I couldn’t believe in myself. There are still a few things on my Amazon Wishlist that will help me continue on this journey to recovery, and the cost of my medical care is another hurdle I will need help with (Dang Heartworms). I just arrived to my foster home in the northeast region of Pennsylvania where I am receiving pampering and will start building my demand… I mean, wishlist soon! Their tops are made out of love, their bottoms are made out of fluff! 🎶 Hey there! I’m Tigger, the Newfie mix with a heart as big as the sea. I’m a special kind of bouncy Newf—full of love, fluff, and that classic Newfie charm! Now, I know I’m supposed to be resting after my neuter surgery—no jumping for this fluffy boy. But, well, I couldn’t resist just once… 🎶 Bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun! 🎶 I tried so hard to stay grounded, but when I saw that cozy bed, I just had to bounce right up! My foster mom gave me "the look," but I know she understands—sometimes, a Newfie just needs a soft spot to land. I’m also clever enough to open the gate (but shhh, that’s between us!). At just 2.5 years old, I’m already a pro at being as sweet as can be. I love baths, and making new doggie friends is the highlight of my day! I might get a little nervous around men at first, but I warm up quickly, especially when they’re gentle, just like me. And women? Oh, I’m all in with tail wags and snuggles! Ask my canine NNR alum foster sister, she’s my best buddy, and I love her to pieces! 🎶 The wonderful thing about Tiggers, is Tiggers are wonderful pals! They’re loaded with charm, and give a warm hug to all! 🎶 I’m a petite Newf mix, but don’t let my size fool you—I’ve got that classic Newfie heart of gold. My heritage runs deep, and so does my love for gentle-natured people. What do I need? Lots of cuddles, and endless encouragement.
