Funny how often people blame the horseshoer when something goes wrong...

I just had an L4-L5 fusion, and multi-level laminectomy, 2 weeks ago. Are there any other reining/cowhorse trainers or farriers Who have had this procedure and are still working? I would like to know your experiences, if you have been able to return to a normal workload or? Doctor says I can start getting on a horse again in about six weeks, but I really don’t know what to expect. Thanks for any input! My back has been a mess for many years and I am hoping this will get rid of a lot of the pain.
