This is something I never thought would happen. I'm making this post in hopes that someone knows or maybe saw something.

Yesterday, sometime between 6:30pm - 9:30pm someone trespassed on my property and made the conscious decision to vandalize and destroy the tools of my trade. The very things that I rely on to make my living and to feed myself and my animals.

▪️All 4 tires of my horse trailer were slashed
▪️All 4 tires of my camper (my house) are slashed
▪️All 4 tires of my dump trailer were slashed
▪️5 saddles were cut and slashed - the ones cut the worst are the ones I use most frequently
>My personal saddle that I use for Tino has "F**k you" carved into the side
▪️A new 3x3 bale (unopened) was doused in diesel
▪️My water spigot was left on (not accidentally, the hose was still coiled neatly)
▪️UPDATE: My short barrel Wi******er shotgun was stolen from inside my camper. This was something special that was gifted to me.

I believe this damage was targeted and intentional, as nothing was stolen. The police are working hard to gather evidence. Fortunately everything damaged is replaceable, but I'm still absolutely gutted.

If anyone out there knows of, has seen anything, or experienced something similar, please reach out to me or the police.

All these babies I have in training are growing up so fast 🥹
Dixie has been a saint for saddling, ground work, and riding. We had our first ride out of the round pen today.
Arizona is really growing into herself (literally and figuratively). We discovered the "go" button and went on a nice trail ride.
Bella (not pictured) is becoming quite the brave trail horse.
Everyday is a good day when I get to send time with the horses (and donkey 🫏)

Yesterday was bittersweet. Shay came to me 90 days ago scared of her own shadow and barely halter broke, yesterday she went home with experience, education, and thought process. During her time with me she proved to be extremely sensitive, kind, smart, soft, and willing; all of the best qualities in a young horse. I'm gonna miss you Tommy Shay ❤️

This weekend was a whirlwind. I taught a working equitation clinic in Silver City on Saturday, that same evening I drove North to Alto to ride beautiful little Bella in Rudy's cowboy dressage clinic on Sunday.
Bella came home with me to get some education and miles in the arena and the trail. This little girl was a superstar during the clinic, I'm excited to see her grow. Thank you Ed and Laura for putting your trust in me to bring her along.

Ms Tommy Shay is becoming a damn good trail horse. 60 days ago she was barely halter broke, now she has a solid w/t/c in the arena, opening gates, and becoming brave on the trails ⛰️🐴

Big progress with these young horses today!
4 year old Shay got her first ride and I am so incredibly proud of how far this little mare has come. Less than 30 days ago she came to me semi halter broke and afraid of the world. Today she ground drove and had her first ride 🥳
5 year old Roman has been here a few days and today was his second day being ridden. He's here for a tune up after having the winter off. He's picking up the program quickly and without complaint, so tomorrow he'll get to play outside the round pen.

It's been a busy and productive day with the young horses!
Shay got her first lesson in ground driving. There were some moments of confusion but she figured out what I was asking from her. She has the potential to be very light and fancy!
Amir got a ground driving session and his second ride in the round pen. He walked and trotted with a rider! This young boy's sale ad will be posted soon 🤑👀

My view from the office today. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to push some cows a short distance. It was excellent exposure for me and Tino. Definitely a learning opportunity I'm thankful to have been given.

Today was my last ride on Lincoln, finishing up his 30 days with me. In this time here's what he's learned...

✅ ️turn on the haunches
✅️ turn on the forehand
✅️ leg yeild at the walk
✅️ side pass
✅️ walk pirouette
✅️ trail riding alone
✅️ hauled and ridden at an unfamiliar place

He's a fun little horse and I know him and Carol will thrive and grow together 💗
