I can honestly say that this little girl saved my life, and continues to do so, every day. I have always struggled with depression, and PTSD, and for a long time I was in it's grips. Then, two years ago come April, my middle daughter brought Cleo home to me, and ever since that day her and I have been inseparable. She gives me a reason each day to get out of bed and take care of myself, and be productive. Especially since my kids are all grown up, because for a long time I used that as an excuse for staying in bed all day, hiding from the world. Not only does Cleo give me purpose, she was my inspiration for my pet supply store, PuppyLuv.
No matter what kind of mood I wake up in, she always manages to cheer me up. It's no wonder that Dog spelled backwards is God🤗

It was humans that domesticated dogs, so it is our responsibility to see that they have homes and love; after all, isn't that why people want them around, to love them unconditionally?! So why are there still so many homeless and abused animals?! It make me angry damn it, and I feel so powerless sometimes. Think about it man, if every individual did a small part, the problem wouldn't be so bad... I get really worked up about these things...

Meet Cleopatra Spicer😸 She is an American terrier pitbull, and she weighs 120 lbs. When people see her walking towards them on our walks, they tend to cross the street 😁. I always get a small kick out of it because if they knew my Cleo, they would know that she is the sweetest, most kind and loving creature.
The stereo type attached to pits is incredibly sad, because only when a dog, any dog, is trained to be vicious, are they vicious. Yes, some dogs are naturally more hyper than others, but the aggression comes from being abused, for example, when dogs are trained to fight other dogs. But, don't confuse pitting dogs against each other with training a dog to be a guard dog. For instance, the police train their dogs to protect and defend, but they are not abused in any way.
Sadly, there are so many pitbulls without homes, one of the main reasons is because they are tagged as vicious and unpredictable. That is why I have made it my mission to squash the nasty stereotype by putting my own two cents in and raising their voices through mine!!! Through PuppyLuv I will build a rescue for pits, and any other cat and dog that needs a home.
My voice, thank God, is one of many, and there can never be enough! So raise your voice by hitting like and share... And many blessings to you, your families, and of course your fur-babies 🤗
