The #1 reason for regular grooming is health.

I see this sweet old guy ( 13 years old!) every 6 weeks or so, in between his appointments he developed a very large lump, that wasn’t at his previous appointment. His parents took him in and the vet removed it. Unfortunately it was cancer, but the best news is because it was caught early they were able to remove it! I was so happy to hear that it was removable I teared up.

Groomers know your pets, they inspect their skin, coat, eyes, temperament etc.. at every appointment. I love your pets and if I see anything I always say something, even if it’s nothing I would rather mention it than not.

I’ve had multiple people contact me about the respiratory virus going around. Please know I am following all guidelines to clean in between every household.

I also ask that if your dog has a cough or any signs of illness to let me know and we will reschedule your appointment. As well as if you take your dog to a dog park, please let me know.

My goal is to always keep every pet safe while in my care.

If you pup gets tear stains I recommend using filtered water, speaking to your vet about foods that can help and wiping their eyes daily.

Sadly, many dogs do not like going in the grooming van, while I hope they love me they don’t always love grooming.

Max loves grooming so much he refuses to leave the van. Door wide open, calling him. As soon as I told him we’re done he goes and hides under the table. I had to take his sister in and come back for him.

As we have all seen and felt, prices are increasing. I have tried to stay the same but I am now feeling the effects of everything rising. New clients are being told the new price.

Existing clients, I am going to keep you at the same price for now, when there is a change I will notify you with ample time before the change of price.

I have rescheduled all appointments I had to cancel, please let me know if you did not get a text message with a new date.

I know some appointments are still a couple weeks away and I apologize. I am trying to balance working my normal days off, working more hours per day and still being there for my family.

Unfortunately my generator has completely died. While this has been a trying and stressful time the good news is I can get a new one placed next week.

I will be reaching out to clients I have cancelled and will need to cancel depending on what day it will be done.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and I’m excited to move forward and get back to seeing all my favorite Pups.

One of the downsides of mobile grooming is the wear and Tear from daily use and being on the road.

Unfortunately on Tuesday my generator quit working mid groom. This is extremely stressful and the last thing I ever want to happen. As of now it is in the shop for repair and I’m praying it will be fixed tomorrow.

I am very thankful for all my understanding clients. Truly the last thing I want to do is cancel. As soon as I know it’s fixed I will reach out to those that I have had to cancel and I’m hopeful I won’t have to cancel Friday this week.

With so much moisture the creepy crawlers are out and seem to be worse this spring than in years past. Please check your pups, and use a preventative. For my pups I use a monthly pill/chewable from our vet. Speak to your vet about what would be best for your pups.

Let’s talk about paw health.

Shaving the bottom of the pads helps to keep debris out in the warm months and snow packed in the winter months.

With the sun shine and heat be very aware of the pavement temperature when walking. Burnt paw pads are horrible.

If you notice your pup biting at their paws a lot, check for anything in them. This may also be a sign of allergies, so give your vet a call.

Peaches really hates the dryer, so I lay towels down for her so she can dry herself while I groom her sister, pickles.

Grooming isn’t about what the groomer wants, pups have their own personalities and I try to learn what works best for them. I want grooming to be an enjoyable experience, not just for looks but for their health.

Did you know I am mom of 3 amazing kids?

While my clients and business mean a lot to me, my kids come first.

Especially when they are sick. I am so thankful for the clients that are understanding of my rescheduling, sometimes last minute and sometimes more then once with the same client because with 3 kids I never know who is going to need mom.

Just like this mama dog it’s exhausting but amazing and I am very thankful for each of my clients that have stayed with me and understand being a mom comes first. ❤️ 🐾
