It’s hard to put into words what you meant to me, but I wanted to try.
Ellie, it was an absolute honor to rescue you — such a gentle, precious soul, true royalty in this world. Over this past year, the connection I developed with you was something special, something quiet and deep, the kind of bond that stays with you forever.
Every morning, before anything else, I greeted you first. Out of all the pets, you were always my first stop. You waited for those morning chin rubs, and I looked forward to them just as much. That small routine became our time — calm, loving, and grounding. Those moments are etched into my heart.
Since the day you’ve been gone, I’ve felt the weight of that absence in ways I never expected. You are terribly missed, and this loss has affected me deeply. I’ve always said that the hardest part of owning a pet is saying goodbye — and this one has truly hit home.
I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Danny, my Creative Services Manager, for telling Ellie’s story through voice. He did an incredible job honoring her, especially during a time when it would have been too difficult for me to do so myself. I’m grateful beyond words for that support and care.
And to the people who trust me with their pets — I don’t like calling you customers or clients. You’re family. Your kindness, patience, and understanding during this incredibly difficult time meant more to me than you’ll ever know.
We’ve honored many beloved pets through Diamond Pet Services, but this tribute is different. Ellie wasn’t just part of my care — she was part of me. This video is simply about love, connection, and remembrance.
