✨ Join us for a sensory-friendly hour (9:30-10AM) or come for the full excitement from 10AM-12PM when all horns go!

🌟🐾 Making this day even more special, our ⭐️ award-winning ⭐️ 2023 Mascot Hall of Fame Corporate Best Brand Reggie Award winner — the beautiful, blue-eyed Siberian Husky 🌟 Diamond 🌟 — will be there in her pink tutu, accompanied by her handsome red Doberman brother, Hallow (short for Halloween).

🤩 Plus, we’ll be joined by some fantastic friends:
• Rusty, the beloved mascot of the Gary RailCats ⚾
• Stan the Oil Man and Lucky the Unicorn from the Northwest Indiana Oilmen 🦄

The countdown is on for Bark in the Park with the Gary SouthShore RailCats this Sunday at 2 PM! ⚾️🐾 We’re thrilled to be presenting this pawsome day and can’t wait to see Miss Paczki, Halupki Guy (just…maybe hold the ketchup on the hot dogs 🤣), and all our pet-loving friends there. Come join the fun—bring your pups and let’s make some memories!

Word is Miss Paczki, Halupki Guy, and yours truly will be at the Gary SouthShore RailCats “Bark in the Park” event presented by Diamond Pet Services this Sunday at 2pm!
Just hope Halupki Guy doesn’t embarrass me again by putting ketchup on his hot dog…

We’re part of the Region’s #1 pet services team, and we want all our furry pals to stay safe and happy this 4th of July! Fireworks might be exciting for me (I actually love them!), but they can be pretty scary for other pets. Here’s how you can help keep things calm:

💎 Try playing gentle fireworks sounds from YouTube or streaming apps a few days ahead. Start low, go slow, and always reward calm vibes!
💎 Explore natural calming options like CBD treats instead of traditional meds.
💎 Create a cozy “safe zone” with fans, music, or white noise.
💎 Double-check collars, tags, and microchips in case of any surprise escapes.
💎 Get those long walks in early so we’re relaxed before the party starts.

☀️💦 BREAKING NEWS: The world’s tiniest dog pool… still a big hit!

💦☀️When it’s 90+ degrees and the only kiddie pool left at Walmart looks like it was made for a chihuahua… you roll with it. 😅💁‍♀️

Did that stop the splash squad? Absolutely not.🐾 Diamond (our queen Husky) may or may not have hogged the pool,🦴 Hallow the handsome Doberman patrolled the perimeter like a lifeguard,🍫 Dexter the chocolate Lab brought the vibes,⚫⚪ and Beau the border collie brought the bounce.💧A too-small pool + a wacky sprinkler rope = summer fun, Diamond-style!Proof that dogs don’t need much to have the best day ever.

Words can’t express how proud I am of the incredible young woman you’ve become. Watching you graduate college and now move forward to pursue your doctorate is nothing short of inspiring. Your determination, strength, and heart continue to amaze me every single day.

Its a hot one today! 🥵

HOT WEATHER SAFETY TIP FROM YOUR FAVORITE MASCOT!
When it’s blazing outside, don’t give your pup water right after heavy panting—wait 10–15 minutes to avoid bloat or aspiration.

BONUS TIPS:
💎 Avoid hot pavement—if you can’t hold your hand on it for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for paws!
💎 Walk during early morning or late evening when it’s cooler.
💎 Know the signs of heatstroke: excessive drooling, bright red gums, vomiting, or collapse.

BUT WHAT IF YOUR PUP HAS TO GO OUT?
💎 Stick to grassy or shaded areas only.
💎 Keep walks short—just enough for a potty break.
💎 Bring water and a portable bowl, but let them rest before offering a drink.
💎 Try dog booties if pavement can’t be avoided.
