Dog Parks are a lovely place for a specific type of dog with really good Doggy Social Skills and good Obedience Training. However, the majority of dogs have No Interest in being thrown in with a bunch of dogs that either scare it, overwhelm it, or make it feel defensive. Dogs, lime people, have different personalities and most are not interested in getting jumped on or chased by strangers. And if your dog does not have really reliable off leash obedience it should Not be turned loose with other dogs and people. You do Not turn a dog loose you cannot reliably control. That’s called Common Sense.
