About Us
Hope for All Pets, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue group that focuses on saving animals throughout the state of Kentucky. The organization’s members realizes that spay/neuter is the only way to get to the source of the pet overpopulation problem in our state, so we have organized a low-cost spay and neuter clinic in Pulaski County. This clinic is not limited to Pulaski County residents and is no additional charge to out-of-county residents.
Our spay and neuter clinics are typically offered two times monthly. Due to the high demand for low-cost spay/neuter, there is a wait list for surgeries. To add your pet to the wait list, please complete the consent form for surgery here: https://form.jotform.com/201488187010047. A volunteer will call to schedule an appointment when one is available. Failure to respond to calls will result in removal from the wait list. The cost is $30 for cats and $50 for dogs, which includes a rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) and an FVRCP vaccine (for cats) or DHPP vaccine (for dogs). Other services, such as microchipping, heartworm testing, and FIV/Feline Leukemia testing are available at an additional cost. While a spay/neuter clinic is being held, we also offer appointments for a rabies vaccine clinic. The rabies clinic is $10 per dog or cat.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, things are being handled slightly differently. No one from the public is permitted to enter the shelter. Upon arrival for your appointment, a volunteer will gather your pet from your vehicle. Once your pet is ready to go home, you will be called, and a volunteer will return your pet to your vehicle.
If you have questions, please email us at [email protected]. Please understand that this clinic is organized by volunteers only, it may take several days for a response. Please do not call the Pulaski County Animal Shelter with questions.
