Busy day helping out another rescue with pet food. Lots of dogs will be happy tonight with all the goodies we sent home for them. Donations are welcome so we can continue to help where needed.

With the extreme heat coming this week. Please put out fresh water and have plenty of shade for animals. The best way to keep them safe is indoors. Also check your fence lines before the 4th to make shure they are in good condition. Make shure your pet has a collar on with name and phone number and chipped. Stay safe CPER209

With the heat please keep your pets inside. For large animals have plenty of fresh water for them. If you plan to take walks with your dogs do very early in the morning before the pavement gets hot.

Today is going to be an interesting day lots of work and then come home and mow the yards. Horses are enjoying the sunshine and playing.

Asombro’s abuser is now in police custody.

This charge is for the other horse on the property but more charges should be coming as the day goes on. I know we have been quiet about this but sometimes you have to be in the midst of an investigation. I hope she is never allowed to own another animal in her lifetime and that still won’t be enough justice. We will update as we know more. I debated posting this photo but after what she has done and how supportive you all have been of Asombro, it is what it is. It’s public record and posted on the sheriffs department page so I’m not violating her privacy.

Our rescue helps alot of people that we don't post on Facebook as to keep their privacy that they need help. We don't need all the praise for what we do. We just want animals to have food and care.
