Hey everyone! Just a reminder that if you’re interested In a GypsyxRe*****on puppy to get those applications in through our website. I’ll attach the flyer and links at the bottom. This will be a nice breeding and these pups will be solid in the field or in the household. Discounted gundog training as part of it!

Re*****on is one of very few grand titled British dogs. He holds a variety of titles that show us he has the desired on/off switch we’re looking for. Aside from his accomplishments in the hunt test game he Is a regular hunter and has picked up everything from puddle ducks to cranes.

Gypsy doesn’t disappoint either. Gypsy has her Seasoned title and will be running some upland tests following the breeding. Extremely biddable and big motor in the field. Shes very gentle and calm in the household as well. She excelled on multiple duck hunts this year. Also, dont forget to add our retriever page as well!

Hello all! We have started to receive applications for this breeding! With this page being so active around our boarding and basic obedience clients, we are creating a page for our retrievers/gundog clients!

This was the exciting news regarding one of our personal pups! We have a planned breeding for our female Gypsy this spring! British labs have always been a passion of ours and we can’t wait to start this line.

Gypsy:
Gypsy is a lean 48 pound female with high drive and eagerness to please. She has her HR “seasoned” title and she is our go-to dog when it’s a tight quarter hunt. She excelled during the four day season picking up wood ducks. She’s quiet and steady in the blind and pushes cover well on crippled birds. She also shed hunts and will be pursing her upland title following the litter. As great of a hunter she is, she’s an even better companion. She runs 5ks with Melissa occasionally. She is set to come into heat in March but we believe it could come sooner. She has a nice pedigree with multiple field trial champions in her pedigree.

Re*****on needs no introduction as he is one of few British retrievers to hold the coveted Grand Hunting Retriever Champion title. He is also hunted regularly by his owner which was equally important to us. Re*****on is located in Texas and he’s picking everything up from ducks to cranes all while staying consistent in the hunt test game.

We believe that we’ve stacked the odds in our favor for developing the “Gentleman’s Gundog” with this litter. At the current time this is just a planned litter but we will start taking applications for this litter now. After reviewing applications we will take deposits on 2nd and 3rd pick males/females.

INFORMATIONAL POST 🚨🚨🚨

We’ve been slacking on our social media game lately as it has been very busy around here as we’re upgrading a few things along with prepping for a busy spring!

In the next few days you will be seeing some announcements coming out, along with some training videos of current clients. There’s also a big announcement coming in regards to one of our personal dogs! 🐾🐶

Stay tuned as we will be putting a lot of information out this week but we will be rolling it out in increments. As always, thanks again for everyone’s continued support and we are so excited for what this year is going to bring! 🙏🙏🙏

BOARDING AND TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨🚨🚨

As we enter 2025 we wanted to make a small adjustment to the boarding side of things. We will now have pickup and drop off times for this year. There will be three 2-hour time slots to pick up and drop off and we will aim to schedule times within those designated slots. Those times are as followed: 6-8am, 11-1pm, and 4-6 pm. This will help us keep great customer service while handling an increase in training clients. We will network with boarding clients if emergencies arise!

That leads us to the next part of our post! We are now booking out to March as obedience training slots continue to fill up. Please reach out to us if you would like to get on the books for training as the 2025 calendar is filling up. We are so grateful the growth and it’s not possible without the continued support of you all! Thanks everyone for the shares, support, and recommendations!

BOARDING GIVEAWAY #6

Jager was a puppy Headstart client then has since taken off to Kansas for upland training. We laid a great obedience foundation and kept his prey drive up with pigeons while he was in.

Jager came from strong upland lines and his drive to train was there daily. Pointers are small animals and definitely enjoy having a job.

In this video we had puppy client Gus waiting for his turn to eat. He was released on his name “Gus.” Theres a few things going on in this video. One is steadiness around food. Two is positive association to crate and place board which is the Kuranda bed.

Gus was a puppy headstart client which is a great program for those wanting to lay a good foundation with a new pup! We are now taking deposits for 2025 trainings.

Appreciation Post 🚨🚨🚨

First off, we would like to thank each and everyone that has supported us this year. Whether it’s boarding, training, or word of mouth just know that we are so incredibly grateful.

We are so thankful for this community and the continuous support Halifax County has given us since we moved here. This morning Melissa took our personal dog, Gypsy, out to the local turkey trot where she got to interact with some members of this wonderful community while completing the 5k. We encourage everyone to slow the day down and cherish this day with all the special people in your life.
