Halloween can be a fun and festive time, but it can also pose some risks to your pets. Here are some Halloween tips for keeping your furry friends safe and happy during the spooky season:

🍬Tip #1: Keep Candy Out of Reach: Chocolate and some artificial sweeteners (like xylitol) can be toxic to pets. Make sure to keep all candy and treats out of your pet's reach.

🐾Tip #2: Costume Considerations: If you decide to dress up your pet, make sure the costume is comfortable and safe. Ensure it doesn't restrict movement, breathing, or obstruct vision. Supervise your pet while they are wearing the costume to ensure they don't become tangled or chew on it.

🎃 Tip #3 Decorations: Be mindful of decorations like candles, which can be knocked over by curious pets. Opt for battery-operated candles or safer alternatives.

👻 Tip #4: Start Them on LIX early: Ease your pet's nerves by starting them on their LIX early. Our specially crafted products are designed to help soothe anxiety and make Halloween a breeze for your four-legged friend.

The second rescue we are supporting this year that we would like you to get to know is... rescue, based in Austin, TX; starting in 2003 as a meet-up group comprised of owners and their dogs who wanted to form a community dedicated to people who wanted to see change. "LOVE-A-BULL was organized to educate and advocate on behalf of the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (all breeds commonly referred to as "pit bulls") and pit bull mixes. The message we try to spread is that they are dogs, just like any other dog; they just happened to be called pit bulls." In 2008, the 100% volunteer-run rescue achieved 501(c)(3) status to be fully able to continue to pursue their mission and goals. In 2020, they saved a record 200 pit bull-type dog's lives.

We are supporting two rescues with the sales of the shirts this year and we would like you to get to know them!

is organized to rescue at-risk “pit bull” type dogs and facilitate social change to abolish the abuse, overbreeding, and miseducation surrounding the breed. CPR goals include fundraising programs, educational initiatives, a strong fostering network through the SF Bay Area, and financial/physical support for needy guardians of pit bull type dogs.

Established in August 2012, CPR is a 501(C)3 all-volunteer nonprofit rescue based in Richmond, CA. 100% of proceeds donated go toward their mission goals, including awareness initiatives and providing food, supplies, housing, training, and medical care for the dogs they take in.
