Finnesse doing agility 101
Finnesse (Finn x Sheridan) just started agility a couple months ago, but she’s really coming along and is having so much fun! We both love our instructor Sara Beth Pinson and the Canine Country Academy is a great facility!
New years covered in puppies’
What better way to ring in the new year...covered in puppies!!! Happy new year however you’re spending it! 🎊🍾🥂
❤️Every puppy gets this regularly to help foster positive associations with being touched and handled. #puppyculture #preparingpuppiesfortheworld #settingpuppiesupforsuccess #mercuryaustralianshepherds #mercuryaussies #finnxaspenlitter
Finn x Aspen litter update day 18:
👓All eyes open and lots of growling going on! It’s so adorable! Ironically the 2 biggest puppies (Satine and Gimli) were the last to open their peepers!
😝They’re also all starting to interact with each other to engage in play, and Ron Weasley “ran” to me to get affection from me today. Claire cried when Pete put her down and then stopped when he picked her back up!
💋Some are starting to give puppy kisses too with puppy breath!❤️
These puppies are so sweet, and the cuteness factor is through the roof! The fun has begun! 🥳
I will try to get an updated video tomorrow since this one is from 2 days ago! Right now I’m getting nothing done though cuz I can’t get out of the whelping box! 😂
Finny loves corn on the cob!
Finny always cracks me up! He even eats corn on the cob like a human! He loves it and waits patiently for some of his own whenever we eat it! 😂💜🌽
Rainy day puppy fun! Hiding the treats around the room with lots of distractions for Finnesse to find! She’s very good at this game despite it being only her third time playing it, but it doesn’t surprise me since her nose has been going since she was a wee little thing in the whelping box!
Brag time: just over a year ago Finn was accepted into the on-going Emory canine un-anesthetized MRI brain study and made the cut after a 90 minute intense tryout and participating in 12 weeks of training. He’s had 3 MRI scans since.
Well....6 weeks ago, at only 5.5 months of age, his daughter Finnesse followed in his paw steps. She went through the same rigorous tryout and was accepted into the program. She is the YOUNGEST dog to be accepted into this program and is half way through her training! I am so proud of her and her focus even at her young age. She’s just like her daddy in her work ethic, and it’s amazing to watch!
Here’s a video of a practice session. Finny always likes to help/show her how things are done and them “fighting” over whose turn it is!😂❤️
