Today we presented and demonstrated our rabbits at my 4-H club meeting. We demonstrated proper handling, proper look of a rabbit, and how to get the rabbit ready for fair. Thank you KKEZ 4-H Club for this opportunity!

This past week we had 2 of our does have kits! One had 4 with no casualties and the other had 6 but unfortunately was not taking care of them so we fostered over to the other mama. Currently have 10 heathy kits!

And just like that, fair season is over for us. We had a Junior Buck get 7th overall, a breeding Buck take first in class and 2nd overall, a breeding doe take first in class and 2nd overall. A breeding Buck take 3rd, and two more breeding doe’s take 2nd in class. Not too bad r this year. Cull the best, keep the rest! Until next year!
