Chester joined the family over the weekend. He will be modeling one of my dog coats at the upcoming Christmas Sale at The Arts Center in Orange this Saturday. It appears he passed the sniff test from my gang :)
Time for a Nature Break! This Blue Heron was hanging out at Lake Orange last week. The Blue Heron teaches self reliance and self determination. I always feel that all will be well when I see one :)
Do you take a moment here and there to just enjoy the great out-of-doors? Welcome to "The Nature Break", my new Thursday feature. Today we visit the garlic chives in my very weedy little garden. I hope you enjoy the bees and the bugs and even the slamming door :)
Sunday Sewing Session
My sewing machine was so excited to start on a new order today that she got the zoomies. What a girl, that Juki!
Door Service
I think I aced my working interview for a doorman job today :)
Yippee supervised. Harley practiced his door dive, and the hiring panel stayed inside to keep cool. (BTW, my yard is fenced and dogs do not wear collars when we are puttering about the house.)
My neighbor turned some of his land into meadow last year. He is kind to let me walk there. These fields are the inspiration for the Luscious Summer Green leash and collar - which I used after we crossed the creek 'cause the deer were everywhere and Ike wanted to give chase!
Check your volume before you watch this video! Every time I try to edit it, all my gang starts barking and looking for Molly! What a houndy hound this girl is!

Meander is ready to mosey out in her new collar and leash. Thank you Andi Cumbo-Floyd!
Snickers is my CEO and walking buddy. He's a little slower now, at 14, but I bet he put a thousand miles on those little legs over the years.
Over time, I will introduce all my pups, but just so you know, I have eleven dogs, one cat and a large yard. Ike and Harley enjoy one-upping each other every day. (This is my first effort at video!)
