Introducing Sookie (better picture of her to come)! The whole crew was able to enjoy a mile walk the other day and yes I said ENJOY. Sookie's owner came to me at their wits end after trying countless ways, without prevailing until now, to make walking together and even the simplest of doing life together enjoyable. So excited to see this after a week from our first lesson! Can't wait to see this family grow together!

Meet Dolly! She is a typical young female Collie with lots of energy. Her and her owner are learning how to communicate effectively to make their lives together more pleasant. After the first lesson they have been well on their way learning overall manners, loose leash walking, how to relax at home and in public, and gaining experience with good exposure. Keep up the great work you too!

D-Ray showing off his manners with his groomer! We are very thankful for knowing a groomer that has patients for a young pup. After working with us and lots of dedication from his owner, D-Ray no longer nips at the groomer or clippers and will stand still for his nail trim and face trimming.

SCHEDULE UPDATE

In The Name of K9 Training will be out of office starting today and all normal business operations and training will resume 12.4.24. We are solely run and operated by one employee, myself, so please understand response time may be slow and limited.

Once back, we will hit the ground running with private lessons and a couple new things to bring in the new year! We still have some openings for private lessons the second and third week in December, if interested feel free to still message me as these spots are filling up quick!

Introducing James! This handsome shy boy is learning the ropes of confidence building and learning how to exist with others, human and dog alike, in a public setting. He has gone from not wanting to get in the vehicle at home to go somewhere to now offering a lay down with crossed paws in public. Keep up the great work!

Ms. Maya is coming along nicely on perfecting public access skills, her and her owner have been working tirelessly on exposure to anything and everything she may run into as a future therapy dog.

Jake and Stella dropped by for a visit, and we were treated to their perfect poses, they are picture perfect!! We love their big smiles! Their mom is the owner/trainer with In The Name of K9 Training Academy. It was nice meeting the 3 of you today!!

Maya and her owner set out on a multi-week roadtrip

Received an updated from them:

"Imagine what it took for her to sit still while 100 dogs surrounded... The work has paid off so much. So much more to go, but holy crap she's been a total rockstar so far... she was simply amazing the entire time. She won't leave my side now, and every time the door opens she runs straight to the car... Let's go! I had no idea how much this would improve our relationship. "
