I'm a bit late on posting this. It's been so hectic around here.
Thank you to all who made it to the June Pack Hike!
The weather actually held out! It was not too hot, and the rain didn't start until we finished up!
The dogs loved getting to take a dip in the river, and those who braved it out had a great time!
Thank you so much to for being such a trooper as always and taking such beautiful photos every time!

In case it wasn't obvious...Remy is with us this week for Refresher Boarding!
He's a delicious American Bully potato boy who is working on his duration skills such as place/down/sit, as well as confidence building to make walks easier. We are also tightening his loose leash walk and ideally getting him started with recall. We are also introducing him to ecollar while he is here.
Remy has been enrolled in private lessons, so this refresher program will give him the boost he needs to make the improvements he's struggling with at home!
Remember, if your dog is Boarding with us, you can always upgrade your Boarding package to a refresher program to get your dog's training goals worked through while they are here!

Just a heads up to everyone that we will be closed for vacation from June 2nd- June 10th. We will return on June 11th.

Thank you so much to everyone who made it out to the May Pack Hike! The weather was perfect, and we had a great group of dogs and humans!
Thank you so much, , for the incredible photos of all of the dogs. I'm always wowed by how perfect they all turn out!
Meet us at Bull's Island for our next Pack Hike in June!

Get ready for our June Pack Hike!
Our June Hike will take place at Bull's Island recreation area. When you pull into the driveway (Quarry Rd) off of Daniel Bray Highway, you will see a small parking lot immediately to your right. Keep driving down Quarry road over the bridge, and you will see a large parking lot and visitors center. I encourage everyone to park there and we will all meet by the visitors center.
The hike we will be doing is a 2 part hike. The first part is the Bull's Island Natural Area Trail at around 0.82 miles, we will then go across the parking lot and head over to the Inlet trail, which is a 1.3 mile paved path. We will stop for a break at the boat launch where dogs are welcome to wade in the water of the Delaware, and we will take several group photos along the way.
This Hike will be considered easy and a great opportunity for those who are new to the Pack Hike experience to jump in and join. I'm not anticipating a ton of dogs and pedestrians on the trails themselves, but we may come across a few.
Please remember to bring a lot of water for you and your dog as it will be hot, and appropriate footwear!
As always, anyone and everyone is welcome to join, however, we ask that everyone follow our rules:
1. Please keep all dogs on a 6ft leash or shorter at all times. No flexi or retractable leashes allowed.
2. No on-leash greetings between dogs.
3. Do not pet someone else's dog without expressed permission from the owner.
4. Please pick up after your dog.

Welcoming Fayra to the Canine Potential Pack!
Fayra does private lessons with her mom and is currently here for boarding!
We are so excited for Fayra to stay with us the next few days and to continue off leash training with her once her mom returns!

Our May Pack Hike will be on May 18th at 10:00 am at Hoffman Park in Hampton, NJ!
This is an easy 3 mile loop trail! Wheelchair and stroller friendly! I realize this trail is a bit far for many of you, but it was such a hit last year, and I'm hoping you all will come out again this year!
Please RSVP to me so I have a headcount.
And remember our group rules:
1. Keep all dogs on a 6ft leash or shorter at all times.
2. No on-leash greetings between dogs.
3. No touching someone's dog without permission from the owner.
4. Pick up after your dog
