What's an equine goal you have for 2025? What equine event are you most looking forward to this year? Feel free to share in the comments and inspire each other! I'll start by sharing below...

If there's one thing I know about equestrians far and wide, it's that we're ALWAYS looking for our next adventure, and/or piece of knowledge to add to our tool kit.
I personally have two equine goals this year, one educational and one adventurous!
💡For my educational goal , I want to dedicate time each week to becoming more knowledgeable in equine genetics.
🐎For my adventurous goal, I want to complete a 50 mile trek with my little herd.
I have the intention of bettering myself as a horsewoman with both of these goals- I never want to stop learning and doing...here's to a 2025 filled with growth and adventures!🎉

It's come to my attention that there is a website out there that is falsely advertising what we offer here at CRF- our ONLY OFFICIAL WEBSITE is www.crfequineservices.com

I am currently working on having the site that was created and published without my knowledge removed. I place high value on professionalism and transparency. I was heartbroken when I came across this imposter site on the first page of Google. It completely misrepresented the CRF brand I've spent countless hours curating over the last 4 years.

These foals were born all across the U.S., specifically Pennsylvania, Arkansas (thank you, Leadem Farm!), and Idaho. Thank you to all for sharing these adorable pictures with us! 🐎💗 Such great looking foals this year!

The season has slowly been winding down, and it's soon time to switch to our summer hours. Monitoring is now available year-round, from 10pm to 6am ET starting June 1st. From now until the first, availability is from 10pm-8am ET.

I am so excited to be able to offer these VetTrue tailtabs by Epona Biotec to my friends and clients! These temperature monitoring tabs are a complete game changer when you're dealing with sick horses 🙌

They're easy to apply, cost effective, and they chart your horse's temperature every 5 minutes. The data populates in an easy to use app that charts with color coded bars, making a fever temperature easy to view at a quick glance.
Nemo was my little test dummy, and the technology worked perfectly (even at a remote pasture with no electricity or internet). They're the perfect addition to any barn's vet kit.

We have had a busy start to the season here, with 5 foals just being born within the last 24 hours. So far for 2024, we have alerted for 53 foals! ❤️

Check out this sweet chestnut foal born on Phoenix Thoroughbred Farm in Georgetown, Kentucky last night. Looks like mama passed on her good looks- congratulations to the team at Phoenix!

The last picture is an adorable Standardbred c**t born early this morning in New York! ❤️

"- At a full gallop, your horse’s heart rate can jump up to 240 beats per minute. The typical resting heart rate is 30-40 beats per minute though.

-On average, they weigh between 8 and 10 pounds or 1% of your horse’s body weight. A human’s heart only weighs 0.5 to 0.8 pound in comparison.

-Like yours, it has four chambers- a right and left atrium that receive blood and two ventricles that pump blood.

-This organ regulates the nervous system and body heat. It’s responsible for calming your horse and getting them to sweat.

-Heart attacks are not very common in horses, though they are at risk for heart disease. This risk increases with age!"
