Grebe's Hungarian Vizslas FOR LOVE OF THE EXTRAORDINARY HUNGARIAN VIZSLA (see details about me under "About" in above dropdown) Her sire is an import from New Zealand.

I am a small Vizsla breeder in central Illinois that breeds for show, field and pet. My goal always is to improve the breed with the quality of puppies that I have and to be able to provide prospective buyers with a beautiful, healthy, outgoing Vizsla puppy that has spent the first few months of their life in a loving, active home and is ready to take on the world when they go to their forever hom

e. I fell in love with the breed about 15 years ago and my first Vizsla (Mariska) found me in December of 2008. Her pedigree is very impressive and is filled with many champions and dual champions. I didn’t know at the time but my life would never be the same. I didn’t own the Vizsla; the Vizsla owned me!! Mariska is my constant shadow and my very special girl. She definitely stole my heart. I had her shown by a handler, Ann Keil, who has become a good friend. Ann showed her to her championship. I have had the honor of having a couple of very special ladies as my mentors over the years and I have learned a great deal from them. They have have owned, bred and shown Vizslas for over 40 years. They have been instrumental to my beginning Grebe’s Hungarian Vizslas. Mariska had many gorgeous puppies over her breeding years and she was retired from breeding in 2016> Two females were kept from her last litter to continue my breeding program, one owned by me and one by a very dear friend who lives close to me. These girls are Rozsa and Gabby. Both girls have completed the necessary health testing. My puppies are very well socialized with adults and children and other dogs and are raised in my home. They will have had a Neopar vaccine at 4 1/2 weeks and first 5-way vaccine at 8 weeks and will be microchipped prior to going to their new homes. Puppies have had Early Neurological Stimulation exercises and lots of other stimulation activities. Puppies will come with AKC registration, microchipped, vet checked at 8 weeks of age, shot and worming history for your vet, and a puppy packet with important information. I don't ship puppies. Puppies are only available for pick-up. Sometimes, buyers can be met within a reasonable driving distance, or I can meet the buyer at a nearby airport. There must be face-to-face handoff with the buyer.

My new litter of 6 beautiful puppies, 4 males and 2 females, were born on 9-15-2022.

Mama to the litter is my Grebe's Gabriella Sunrise Dancer. Gabby has a wonderful pedigree full of conformation and field champions. Her mama is my CH Lorac's Mariska Dixieland Delight, out of Lorac and Paradox Vizsla Champion parents. Gabby's sire is MBISS NBISS GCh Plaza's Save the Last Dance JH (Hummer). Gabby's CHIC number is 137785, AKC Registration # is SR94456701and she has OFA certifications in advanced cardiac, eyes, elbows, hips, thyroid and PENN HIP scores.

Sire to the litter is Stryder Bajnok Kink from Kink Family Vizslas. Stryder has led an active vizsla life with his owners, filled with swimming in their pool, running in their field, hunting; and, of course, lounging in the living room with dad!. Stryder's AKC Registration # is SR77701105 and he has OFA certifications in hips, eyes and elbows.

Once you have decided to go through with a purchase, a deposit is required to hold a puppy until pick-up. Grebe’s Hungarian Vizslas

I had her shown by a handler, Ann Keil, who has become a very good friend. Ann showed her to her championship. My mentors were Ann and Nancy Heinold, a veterinarian from Michigan that owns Paradox Dual Champion Vizslas, close to Detroit. Both ladies have bred, shown and had vizslas as an integral part of their lives for over 40 years and they have been instrumental to my beginning Grebe’s Vizslas.

Mariska was retired from breeding in 2016 but 2 females were kept from her last litter, one owned by me and one by a very dear friend who lives close to me. These girls are Rozsa and Gabby. Both girls have completed their health testing. They have a wonderful pedigree full of conformation and field champions. Their mama is my CH Lorac's Mariska Dixieland Delight, out of Lorac and Paradox Vizsla Champion parents. Their sire is MBISS NBISS GCh Plaza's Save the Last Dance JH (Hummer).

Rozsa (Grebe’s Get Straight To the Point). Her health certifications are as follows: HIPS: OFA-Good, ELBOWS: OFA-Normal, EYES: OFA-Normal-2018, THYROID: OFA-Normal-2018, ADVANCED HEART: OFA- NORMAL AO/CONG, AUSC/ECHO - Cardiologist, PennHIP 90% and DI 0.29, CHIC: 137786.

Gabby (Grebe’s Gabriella Sunrise Dancer). Gabby's CHIC number is 137785 and she has OFA certifications in advanced cardiac, eyes, elbows, hips, thyroid and PENN HIP scores.
