Western South Dakota had great upland hunts. Enjoying our Springers do so well is a pleasure. Seneca a 4 month old Springer pup and Ruby a 7 month old Springer pup doing so well on wild roosters and grouse. Dogs stayed in range and retrieved birds to hand. Time spent with friends is always good.

I'm very proud of my Springers spent time in western South Dakota hunting pheasants and grouse. Grouse were more of an opportunistic hunt since focused on pheasants. My 4 month old Springer was in thick 5 foot tall cattails hunting hard and twice she found and retrieved a rooster. Seneca also flushed sharptail grouse and marked a shot bird and retrieved it. Very proud to have a 4 month old pup that's that successful. Ruby a 7 month old Springer of ours also hunted she has speed and athleticism and was hunting at 4 months old.

Ruby one of our English Springer Spaniels had her first South Dakota hunt. Ruby did an excellent job on those big roosters and sharptails. The wind gust this morning were near 60 mph, we waited and wind gust were around 40 mph.

Cole puppy # 7 heads to it's new home locally Carey Ohio. Cole is very friendly and a stocky boy

Maggie is her new name and she is headed to Ponce De Leon Florida to her new home with her new owners. Maggie will live in their home and become part of the family and a great bird dog. Our Springers did well this Labor day weekend at Trophy Time in Illinois competing in a National Upland Classic Series bird dog competition. Wyatt won 🏆 in open flushing over 20 dogs competing and some National Champions in the mix. Ruby at only 4 months old is performing exceptionally well in the field. Albert & Gunner had a great Doubles flushing team run scores were very close. Nicholas Portentoso was my partner and had a "clean" run.
