2nd day of the 2 day show in Baldwin. Q bit rougher start to the day then yesterday, but got it turned around and Tori won highpoint for the 2 day show with Reddy and Reserve with Durango. Proud of this girl and her boys 🐎

Fun time last night at the Friday Night Lights show with St Croix Riders Saddle Club! We had 4 horses in the intermediate class= Tori on Reddy and Durango, Taylor on Mustard, and Aleiya on Tango. They did amazing, each of them placing most rides. Sometimes the first 4 placings! Tori on Reddy ended up with high point. With the extra room in the trailer, I brought Indy and had fun. We have a lot of work to do, which I just need to make the time for myself and ride, but considering that, we had fun and Indy was very forgiving of how I must ride with my broken wrist. My favorite was getting 2nd in our jumping figure 8. I think it was around 2am when we got home, and the show we considered going to today has been postponed to a later date due to the rain.

Reflections on Polk County Fair Open show 2021. Was up late Friday night and early Saturday morning preparing for this show. Families and kids started showing up at the farm before 5am. Made it to the fairgrounds around 6am, show began on time at 8am, and we were out of there after 10pm! What a looong day! But what a GREAT day!. First, to all the families and kids in our group; THANK YOU! You guys are awesome! You really stepped it up and helped out and THAT is what made this show such a success! Thank you to our judge,Tammy Dahlby, for being there and helping our novice group. Thank you to the Ellsworth group, Sarah, Shae,Page,Nicole, and the two that rode whose names escape me at the moment (sorry) You guys drove abt 2 hours to be here and helped all day and I am eternally grateful! Thank you Sadie and Mac for helping in the office with your technology! Thank you Polk County Fair Board for the opportunity to have this show and run it for the fair! I could go on about EACH individual person I saw helping with in gates, out gates, office, cooking the potluck, ring crew, runners and participants - I saw you all and as I reflect I have tears of gratitude (yup, still tired and emotional today.) Last but not least thank you God for everyone's safety, and the beautiful weather! We have been complimented by many on how organized the show was and how smoothly it was run! We have an amazing group!

Nice job tonight guys! I know it's an early morning and a BIG day Saturday, but we will have a good time! Let's remember to work together, help each other out and be awesome workers with smiles and positivity! I have a great crew with all of you and your parents so I'm feeling confident! Sami's dad will be grilling chicken!! Should we plan a pot luck and everyone bring snacks to share throughout the day as well? What are your thoughts? Comment below! Just want to say how proud I am of everyone today!! You all were so supportive of one another, took great care of your horses, and had amazing rides! I would call this first show a great success! As you all know, I have a hard time coaching and taking pics and video. I would love if you all would share about your day and any pictures on this post to log memories. Thank you parents as well. Without your support much of this wouldn't be possible. And Todd, we are all very grateful for all you do!

Hello Victory Riders...

Attached, you will find the showbill for the July 4th show in Baldwin. Show starts at 8am, I would like to leave Victory Farms no later than 6:30am. That means horses loaded and leaving at that time, so you may want to arrive between 5:30 and 6am. We have limited space but can take people, Please let me know if you will be riding with me.

This is a WSCA show. I would like us to discuss shirts for future shows, I do have a logo already, but for this show, we do not have them. So, your attire should be a short sleeve COLLER shirt (Like a Polo shirt). I suggest a tank top underneath if it gets hot between classes, and of course Helmets, jeans and boots are required. I will have a cooler for drinks. Bring your own. They will have a food stand or you can bring food, or there is the option to have someone run up and get fast food at some point, Food is on your own and at your cost.

We will set up the tent, bring your own chairs.

Reminder: Horses at the trailer need food and water at all times ! We are there together and to help and cheer for one another!

Also, attached is the Mock show bill for July 17th. This will be 4H attire – long sleeve collar shirts, jeans, boots and helmets. Let me know who is planning to go and more details will be posted on our FB Page as it gets closer.
