We met Kevin, who owns European Headwaters Taxidermy in rural Bemidji, last April at the Minnesota Taxidermy Convention and he was able to help us out get some really cool European Mounts out! He offers hydrodip skulls and I will attach the dips he has to offer below. Thanks for helping us out Kevin!

We also got an Elk Euro out the door too!

We have been working on adding a new policy that will be effective January 1st, 2025. This policy will help keep running our business smoothly and get specimens out the door in a timely manner. We wanted to share the new policy with you so you know what to expect when bringing specimens to our studio.

We got our display up for The Parade Of Trees in Twin Valley, MN. Doors open to the public December 4th, at 5pm.

We are featuring some customer bucks. We also have Courtney's grandfather's sheds that we mounted on display as well. The sheds were found in the 80's and now hold a Minnesota State title for Norman County as 1st place for matched pair and 2nd and 3rd place for individual sheds.

Congratulations to Kyle on harvesting this enormous Minnesota Giant!!! Holy cow for the neck on this beast. Most deer are around a 22"-24" neck, this monster has a 29" neck!!!! Good job on getting this old brute. Many other huge bucks came in too. Going to be an awesome Big Buck Competition!!

How has everyone's hunt been going?? There have been quite a few very large bucks coming in the door. Going to be a fun big buck competition this season!! Courtney harvested the largest deer she's ever gotten. An absolute brute too. Congratulations on that super unique giant rack!

**New Transport Law Changes in MN**

The Minnesota Taxidermy Guild has been working hard to implement a change in the CWD Cervid "Deer" Transport Laws in Minnesota. Recently the MNDNR changed the laws and will now allow out of state Cervids to be brought into MN without having to cape it off the skull. Cervids are all deer; Whitetails, Elk, Moose, Muleys etc. Animals still have to be quartered and no spine attached to legally bring back into Minnesota. But you are allowed to bring in a whole cape, with the skull and horns still attached into MN. You are then given 48 hours upon entering MN to bring your trophy to a lisenced Taxidermist. This applies for European mounts too. Be sure to check the 2024 Hunting bylaws for the complete description of the new law changes.
This beautiful unique Elk is from Montana, we finished it this past spring (owner did all the proper required steps before bringing it to our studio, which now it'll make his next hunting trip easier)
