Kenleigh finally got the nerve to trot LB today
Kade & Kissin. We finally found a saddle that the stirrups took up enough for him so he could ride with stirrups. He can get his feet in them, I need to adjust them some more. We just tried this saddle to see if it would work before making adjustments.
I rode Kelsie's horse for the first time today. She did well considering the wind was horrible, & all of the other horses were running around playing. There was alot going on. She should settle in soon. I didn't lunge her, she's been in the barn since Sunday. This is a true first ride.
The Rain finally stopped, I was able to get my first ride in on LB. He's a little nervous being in a new place. I think he will settle in soon. I didn't lunge him, he's been in the barn since Sunday. This is a true first ride.
Kelsie & EyeFul of Cute(Sailor) trying to get in a little practice time. With all the rain, I'm behind in lessons & the wind has been horrible. I haven't had time to ride Sailor any so she's doing really well riding a fresh horse & fighting hurricane winds. Lol.
We missed a week of riding because of all the rain. Marley got in some practice time today. Today was Marley's first time riding after breaking her finger at school, she did very well. She didn't complain the first time even though I constantly asked if her finger was ok, lol.
6 yr.old Kaylynn is riding all on her own. She's learning to walk/jog circles, turning, backing, figure 8's & walking over poles. She has only had six lessons.
Kaylynn is doing great in her lessons, today was the first time I completely let her loose to ride on her own. She can guide her blind lesson horse anywhere she wants. She is only 6 yrs. old. Today was her sixth lesson.
