Pupdate! Fred is now 6 months old, and he’s one cool dude. He enjoys living the high life, being spoiled rotten and carted around in the bottom of the stroller, bouncing around with his 8 month old human and generally acting as a chaos coordinator. He’s still so much a puppy (as he should be) and we enjoy letting their minds grow up before we ask too much from them but he happily “places”, “heels”, “sits”, “stays”, “waits”. Hoping for big things to come from this little mutt (said affectionately).

Grim is a 4 year old stud 😉 of a dog!
He retrieves to hand, is a fabulous wagon dog, flushes and is steady to wing, he heels wonderfully and is very eager to please. He has both wild and released quail and pheasant experience and does ducks too! Hes what we wouldn’t hesitate to call an all around goodest boy. He has one litter under his belt with a huge variety of color. Huge energy while at work, marginally less energy when not at work however is always willing to accept snuggles.
Health tested through embark, very good results. No OFAs, can have him OFAd immediately however his price will increase.

Life lately, we’ve moved into a new house, Freya working hard to retrieve ducks this season, getting horses ready to hunt! Our cockers are plumb wore out from finding birds most days (a working cocker is a happy cocker), and bird dog puppies!

September 11, 2001. A day we will never forget because of how shocking and unthinkable it was to be attacked on our own soil, a day thousands of lives were senselessly lost, and a time when millions of Americans came together, when countless people across the world showed love, support, and compassion for our nation. We will never forget those who died, those who sacrificed, or those who lived on in the after math. We are incredibly thankful to our first responders and to our every day civilian hero’s who came together to sift through the wreckage. We will never forget such a tragedy, or forget those who stood together in the aftermath.

This week we said “see you later” to our little golden girl! She’s moved on to her forever family to be a hunting companion and a lap dog but don’t worry we’ll be getting to see her in action come quail season! Here she is pictured with her mama Ryley and sister Gracie. Her and Gracie were born from Ryleys last litter (born this past February) and both of these lovely girls have been able to stay with us for training before going to their homes! It’s going to be incredible to see what these girls do. 💖

Here’s a friendly reminder that puppies need time to be puppies!
This little girl is one of two from this last litter we bred that has stayed with us for training at her owners request. She trains hard, plays hard, and sleeps hard! She’s a little over 6 months old and she’ll be going to her home with a well rounded education about being a hunting dog, as well as a life long companion. Letting her leave will be hard (we get attached because how do you not?) but her family is phenomenal and we know she’s going to be great 💖.

Good Golly Miss Dolly! She sure can turn those sweet eyes on when she wants something 🤩. This dazzling girl is absolutely the best of both worlds, she is calm and snuggly at home, and a cyclone in the woods showing everyone just how it’s done and she’s not even a year old yet!

Long overdue post, life has been pretty busy chasing after all these puppies so forgive us for not posting like we usually do!

We have been very blessed and all puppies in this litter are sold, this will be the last litter we have for a year or more unless we acquire another exceptional breeding female. We however are always in contact and networking with other cocker people and are very happy to help you find what you’re looking for!

Please keep an eye on our page, we’ve got so many dogs to train, so many memories to make, and so many fun and exciting new adventures ahead. We are NOT slowing down, we are full steam ahead training our pups for this next season.

Thanks all for your interest in this litter, we are very excited to see these pups go to their new homes and do great things!

Puppies had their first shots today! This is the 3rd time they’ve been to the vet to be looked at and declared healthy pups, we take our babies pretty seriously and have our vet check them at 3 days old when we have tails docked and dew claws removed, 3 weeks old for a f***l and deworming, and 6 weeks old for another f***l check/deworming as well as first vaccines!

It really doesn’t take much for them to pick up what it’s all about. 5 weeks old and their first live, unclipped birds were a success.
