Introducing new pets to the house can be stressful and incredibly scary.

When we first introduced out new dogs to the cat, we took it very slowly. We made sure to give the cat plenty of escape routes. Putting up lots of gates helped the cat become more comfortable. It's important for both your dogs and cats to see each other frequently from a safe position before allowing them to interact, especially if you have a breed with high prey drive.

As you can see, our cat Mario took to the dogs quite well.
