We all go through life's trying times once in a while, and when I hit some rocks in my path, I chose to build something nice with them versus surrendering. Those hurdles gave me the inspiration to live up to the challenge to take something that may be broken or with obvious value and create something beautiful to treasure and keep. Luckily my family had mostly lived near, or not far, from either t
he Atlantic or the Pacific Ocean. My weekly outings to the beaches with my dogs always gave me the tranquility to center myself. I found not only myself but also the oceans' little treasures. So I started to collect all kinds of washed up shells and driftwood pieces, and needed to find a way to turn them into little gems that would be worth keeping and displaying. Gradually my own style of putting together wire, beads, and oceanic treasures emerged. I love those little mobiles, hangers, and bottle wind chimes, and hope you will too.
