Due to no fault of his own, Odie is looking for a new puppy raiser!
This 4 month old lab pup is as sweet as they can be. His past raiser wrote a short summery of him;
“Odie is such a wonderful puppy! He is such a happy puppy who is eager to please and easy to train. He is low key for his breed and for being a young puppy and has no bad habits. He sleeps through the night and never has an accident in his kennel. He plays well with other dogs and also plays well with toys by himself. He responds well to redirection. If you have ever wanted a puppy that is an absolute joy without a lot of hassle, then this is the one for you!”

Partners With Paws Service Dogs is dedicated to changing lives through our puppy raising program. A puppy raiser is a volunteer who takes on the responsibility of raising and socializing a service dog in training until they are ready for advanced training, typically puppies will come back for their advanced training between 1.5-2 years old. Puppy raisers play a crucial role in the service dog's journey to becoming a well-trained companion for someone in need.
As a puppy raiser for Partners With Paws, you will have the amazing opportunity to raise a future service dog, providing them with love, care, and basic obedience training. We cover all costs associated with raising the puppy, including food, veterinary care, and training materials. Additionally, we hold regular monthly training sessions to support our raisers and ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to help their puppy thrive.
By becoming a puppy raiser, you are not only giving a dog the chance to become a service animal but also changing the life of someone in need. Service dogs can provide independence, assistance, and companionship to individuals with disabilities, making a profound impact on their quality of life. The whole Partners with Paws partnership was actually tied in with the Neverest Labs sponsorship for Masyn. After I attended a few races last year and being a part of the team for a few races at the end of the season, I saw the hardwork that the family put into making the trucks perform in and out every week and I wanted to set them up for another successful race season. After a few conversations with my family, we decided to go ahead and sponsor both trucks. But we wanted to keep the Liedke Racing Family growing. Partners with Paws is ran by a great family that we are very good friends with, so we donated Cadyn's truck to them so they can get on a race truck and become a part of the Liedke Racing family. Partners with Paws is very excited to join Cadyn Liedke Racing this season and we are so excited to have an awesome and successful season!

Meet Banks, a charming 14-week-old male Newfoundland who is being donated by Rock River Newfoundlands and is looking for a special someone to be his puppy raiser! 🐶
What’s a puppy raiser, you ask? A puppy raiser is a dedicated individual who is willing to take on the responsibility of helping a a service dog in training like Banks grow into his role. This involves attending monthly trainings, meeting the pup’s needs, working on exposure and socialization, training at home, and ensuring he makes it to all necessary vet visits. Don’t worry about the costs – Partners with Paws will cover everything! 🌟

ENS and ESI with our Finding Nemo Litter 💙 Early Neurological Stimulation is a very important to start doing with puppies at 3 days old up until they are 16 days old. We start out by holding the puppy upright, then on their backs, then upside down. We then place them on a cold mat. After, we take a cue tip and tickle in between their toes. We also do Early Scent Introduction (ESI) which helps enhance they puppies mental and physical development. Puppies respond was either a positive (they smelled the scent and were interested), negative (they pulled their head away immediately), or neutral (they just kind of sat there, didn’t smell it but didn’t turn their head away). We do both ENS and ESI at such a young age because it not only builds a stronger cardiac system and adrenal response which helps them deal with stressers easier as they get older, but it also also boosts their immune systems. Overall our goal is to have confident and healthy puppies!

ENS and ESI with the Golden Puppies. Read below on why we do this ❤️ I started the video a little late but the 1st ens exercise was already completed (head held erect) ESI: “Early Scent Introduction (ESI) is done in conjunction with the ENS training. ESI is designed to enhance puppy's ability to identify and react to specific scents. Fun Fact, the area in a dog's brain that processes data picked up by the nose is 40 times larger than in a human brain. So, we could say that a dog’s ability to smell is a function of their intellect. “ ENS: “ The U.S. Military in their canine program developed a method that still serves as a guide to what works. In an effort to improve the performance of dogs used for military purposes, a program called "Bio Sensor" was developed. Later, it became known to the public as the "Super Dog" Program. Based on years of research, the military learned that early neurological stimulation exercises could have important and lasting effects. Their studies confirmed that there are specific time periods early in life when neurological stimulation has optimum results. The first period involves a window of time that begins at the third day of life and lasts until the sixteenth day. It is believed that because this interval of time is a period of rapid neurological growth and development, and therefore is of great importance to the individual. The "Bio Sensor" program was also concerned with early neurological stimulation in order to give the dog a superior advantage. Its development utilized six exercises which were designed to stimulate the neurological system. Each workout involved handling puppies once each day. The workouts required handling them one at a time while performing a series of five exercises. Listed in order of preference, the handler starts with one pup and stimulates it using each of the five exercises. Oogie will be visiting his Marine in just two weeks, which means he will get to go on his first airplane! Service dogs typically need to be put in down stays and then recalled through the metal detectors at the airports. Oogie got to practice this today at Graftons Police Department. Thank you so much Village of Grafton Police Department for allowing us to come and train for a short time. Stay tuned for some travel pictures and videos of our sweet Oogie! (Crush also attended to get use to the noises)

Quick little training session with May. We started with the clicker today since she responded really well to this technique. We will also use the “yes” marker word with her as we go on, but sometimes the clicker can help catch the behavior a little faster.
