We're looking for a Seasonal Part-Time Farmer
Late April-Mid October
10-15 hrs per wk
Compensation: $15-17/hr + veggies
**Related experience preferred but not necessary**

Food is hard to come by in Gaza right now
Since for 3 months
Israel has cut off access to
Food Water Medicine
Amidst the bombings & attacks
Enacted with weapons supplied by US gov
Over 22,000 Palestinians
Killed by the Israeli army
So many children
So many children

Another reminder to do what you can to stand w/ Palestinians and help put an end to this genocide. Call your representatives (jewishvoicesforpeace.org makes it real easy), boycott the big businesses supporting Israel, go to protests/actions (there's one happening in Elkhart on Jan 20), keep talking about it, and of course do things that bring you joy amidst all this heaviness.

As you can see, the farm has a new name: Two Clouds Farm! My close friend Mimi and I have united to farm together, so we decided on a farm name together. We’re excited to keep caring for plants and growing food for this community.🥕🌽🍆🌻

It’s been super cool to have a partnership with the Food Bank of Northern IN (through the LFPA program). Last season we ended up growing well over 2 tons of food for the Food Bank!! We’re glad for the opportunity and the Food Bank really needs more fresh produce. Whenever we made a delivery, our veggies were gone within 1 day. 😶

We’re beyond grateful for the 2023 farm season and looking forward to many more. Thank you to everyone who supported us this year, it means the world!😊👏🦋🐝🐛

🍁🍂Wish you all could smell this fresh young ginger🍁🍂

Oh wait- you can! If you've never enjoyed young ginger before, here's your chance! A limited supply of Joy Farm ginger is available: 5 oz bag for $5 or 1 lb for $15. DM me if you're in Goshen and want some this week:)

You can use young ginger exactly like the ginger you find in the store, it's just more tender, fresher tasting and packed with more antioxidants.

My fav way to use this ginger is to thinly slice a 2" piece and boil in a small pot of water for at least 20 min. When you're happy with the strength of it, pour some in a mug and top with honey and lemon juice.

I'll also be making my fav cake- the Ginger Honey Cake in Abra Beren's new cookbook (recipe based on the great Samin Nosrat's Ginger Molasses cake recipe in Salt Fat Acid Heat).
