Does anybody want to foster this sweet baby girl? She’s 3 months old and stuck in a pound.

Some of our pups went for a swim tonight! They loved it!

We’ve got the land and the building, but now we need to raise the funds for the concrete, plumbing and electric 😳 this facility will allow us to house roughly 25 dogs and pups in need! We need this facility now more than ever as we are loosing our biggest foster (hard to find a crazy lady that likes dogs as much as she does 😂) 💥If anyone has suggestions for contractors for any of these areas let us know!💥 Picture of the building in the comments!

Pistol Annie Sometimes in rescue we have cases that literally break our hearts and make us so angry. Pistol Annie is one of those cases. We had been talking to her owner since Annie had 10 puppies that were going to be surrendered. About 3 weeks ago her owner said Annie had been “clipped” by a car. We offered to have momma seen, but she said she would take her after she got paid. Then she said she was getting better and walking on it again. Fast forward 3 weeks while nursing 10 puppies with minimal dog food and nutrients, our representative picked the family up still not knowing the full extent of the injuries. The video below is her current state. The poor girl has been dragging her back end around for 3 weeks and obviously hadn’t gotten any better. Our awesome Vet at Sugar Creek Veterinary Services squeezed us in today for an X-ray where we discovered she has a compound fracture that has already started healing. At this point the best option would be to amputate. The vet estimated around $600 for surgery. We will also need a foster to help her recover! If interested in fostering please let us know! Let’s get this momma some love she deserves! X-rays in the comments.

Is there anybody that could foster this sweet boy?? He’s only about 35 pounds.

This is Hugo amd his sister Josephine. They are very petite lab mixes. They each weigh about 20 pounds and are guessed to be 4 months old.

Miss Izzy is really starting to come out of her shell! She just wants to please! If interested in meeting this sweet girl let us know!

Little Rays Of Sunshine Animal Rescue is a foster/volunteer based rescue organization serving the state of Missouri. We are dedicated to providing a safe haven for neglected, abused or abandoned animals until a forever home is found.
