This is so much fun! It works, but totally depends on how many of your friends and their friends participate.
Doesn’t matter where you live - you are welcome to join! You have to buy one gift valued at least $10 and send it to your secret dog. (Hello, Amazon and Chewy - you don’t even need to leave your house to shop !!!!). Your dog will receive 6-36 gifts in return. And the great thing is you can keep them or donate them! A present will brighten their day (and the owners too). We could all use some happy mail. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you information about your secret Santa dog. This weekend we are doubling up! Two days, two different events. If you are the Suffolk side I'll be at the Sayville Apple Festival and if you are on the Nassau side and a dog lover I'll be at Dog Days at Old Westbury Gardens. This is my last fall weekend of big events so definitely try to get to one of them! Sunday is for dog lovers, you must pre-buy tickets online at Old Westbury Gardens but you can buy the day of and get to spend the whole day walking around, great photo ops for you and your dog and you can shop a whole line of pet vendors. Hop on the LI Dog site to get info on registering for their dog walk which will take place in the morning. Hope to see you!!
