Update
Sissy has been picked up and is safe We are on our way back So she can get settled into her foster home and receive some much needed vet care
Welcome to the start of a new life Sissy
Great Babies Rescue is out on the road .We have received a call for a partially paralyzed girl that we suspect has been used as a breeder. We know she is going to need a full work up and lots of love.We will be posting pictures and updates once she is safe and in our care..I ask for prayers for traveling grace. As we are on the road and out of state.ant donations would be greatly appreciated

I would love to attend this conference. Going to try to put the funds together to attend. Doing the dogs we do and calls I get called out on the continued education and knowledge would be wonderful to have

Our conference & vendor show is open to all K-9 trainers, handlers, Law Enforcement and Military personnel.

I have the opportunity to go pick up dog food on Wednesday for the rescue Going to try to put funds together to pick up 2 skids of dog food at $150 per skid. We also have a previous adopter whose husband was in a car wreck yesterday and is in the hospital with severe injuries . We would like to also pick up supplies for them. They will be in the need of horse food, chicken feed Duck feed and Dog and Cat food

Rescue is so hard and it get harder every day. No matter how much love and heart you have there are days you just want to walk away You get tired of no matter what you do it's not enough where it's not right. You get tired of giving up all of your life. YOU GET PHYSICALLY MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY EXHAUSTED FROM THE HATE AND THE ABUSE YOU SEE EVERY DAY BUT YOU STAY. You most of the time can't talk about the things you see because if you do you can't make the save so you stick it inside and you bury it away. A rescuer beats their head against the wall 23 out of 24 hours a day most days trying to figure out how to make it all work and make things change. There comes a time when you just want to walk away
There comes A Time to where you tell your team you don't know if there's another that you can make another save or if he even want to
You ask God to show you you asking for the strength you need you still can't find that peace. And you wonder if you got us enough strength to do what you need to do that day.
AND THEN
One of your amazing adopters sends you this face.

Try to remember the on the hard days all the GREAT saves

We have got her back we are working on getting her a bath we will update more shortly but wanted to share some additional pictures of her from our evaluation

Great Babies Rescue Received a call for help for this baby. She was left in a house for two weeks before she was found after her owner was arrested.
We have picked her up and would like to ask for prayers This sweet little girl is nothing but fur and bones and has a long fight ahead of her
We will update more later after we get back and get her evaluated

Our mission was to help the abused, neglected and discarded dogs in our area and beyond.

Our mission has never been to relieve you of the commitment YOU made to your dog when you took them in.

People have babies and keep their dogs.

People change careers and keep their dogs.

Peoples schedules get hectic and they keep their dogs.

People move and find a way to keep their dog.

People run into issues with manageable/trainable behavior AND THEY KEEP THEIR DOGS.

These situations are not unique.

We didn't start this rescue to bail you out. I'm sorry, I know that may sound harsh-- and yes, we know that there are absolutely situations in which people can truly no longer care for their dog- and we help with those as much as we can. We also help with food, vet care, and other situations and resources.

But for the love of Dog-- step up for your dog. Show up for your dog. Show your dog the same love and commitment today that you showed them the day you brought them home.

Dogs are being euthanized every single day because the shelters do not have space. FRIENDLY. HEALTHY. HAPPY. ADOPTABLE. DOGS.

Your dog is no different than any of the dogs who have been losing their lives every day and if you give up on your dog-- they could be next.
