We had another big adoption tonight!
💖Gaia 💖

Gaia is our 11 year old cat who came from Washoe County Regional Animal Services.

She was severely anemic, dehydrated, and sick.

We thought we were going to lose her over 4th of July weekend when she took a downhill spiral, and ended up in urgent care, but with some routine vet care at our amazing vet LuxPet Vet, and lots of TLC, she is strong, healthy, and ADOPTED!

☀️ It’s warm and sunny…

Fleas and ticks thrive in warm environments and it is important to keep your furry friends protected! Ticks can spread many diseases such as Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever to name a few.

Swipe to see some ticks we pulled off of Miss Mila. Mila and her Mom are avid hikers in the Reno area and Mila picked up these two unwanted guests on one of their adventures. Mila is now protected against fleas, ticks, and heartworm after this scare.

One year ago we met Walter White when he was rescued by his owners. Upon physical exam, Dr. Kee noticed an abnormal gait only to find that he had a complete fracture to his right femoral neck. At just 2.7lbs, Dr. Kee performed a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) and today he is 12lbs of handsomeness and love without a single limp or limitation to his ability to move or jump. Here’s to Walter White, the best boy that we just can’t get enough of! 🥰

We provide general medicine, diagnostic lab testing, senior pet wellness care, and multimodal pain management. A veterinary visit at home:

▪️15.1-25 miles - $85
▪️25.1 miles or more - $85 + $2 for every mile after 25 miles from the clinic
