We are delighted to offer this opportunity for hands on experience with Foaling Mares and Neonate Foals.

The “Foal Sitter” Position may entail assisting with deliveries, holding mares while foal nurses, watching for milestones after delivery, milking mares, tube feeding foals, helping technicians restrain foals and baby sitting orphan foals. The opportunities with the mares and foals will usually be at night, as when that is when the majority of the mares deliver.
