HIRING A GROOMER ✂️🪮🐶
We have a groomer that will be taking some time off in December so we want to go ahead and get a new person trained and adjusted!
—Experience preferred
—Training will be provided, but not paid
The amount of time it takes to train depends on you, your work ethic, ability to learn, etc.
—Required to sign non-compete agreement
I’m using my time and energy to train you to work for ME; this is not a school for you to take the skills and go elsewhere.
—Flexible scheduling
You choose your own hours and days AFTER training is over and you’re able to be on your own.
—Very fast paced environment
No one should ever wait more than 3 hours for one of their pups to be finished grooming (special circumstances do occasionally happen) multitasking is a necessity.
—Must have excellent people skills
When people come in, you will be expected to initiate and carry a conversation with them. No one should be messaging me and saying they weren’t even acknowledged.
—Motivated, quick learner, and able to take criticism
No one is perfect, you will make mistakes and will need to be able to learn from it.
—LOTS of patience with animals
You will get bit; that is inevitable.
—Pay is commission.
You have the opportunity to make as much as YOU want to make. If you work 2 hours, 7 days a week and work slowly, you won’t make much. If you work 6 hours for 2 days a week but work at a brisk pace, you’ll make a significant amount more. You keep all of your tips.
