MALUCCHI ITALY ROOTS:
It the 30s of the last century, when Libero, my grandfather, learned the art of craftsmanship in the shop of a shoe factory. Hands which, day after day, without respite, always knew better and worked, with dedication, the leathers, to give shape to a real masterpiece. After the Second World War, together with his brother, Libero created handmade shoes, sold with increasing s
uccess and positive feedback on the streets of Florence. My father Riccardo was born into the family leather goods business, attracted since childhood by the art of leather processing, realign itself toys with great inventiveness, using the various leather scraps of the production process. In 1977 Riccardo founded the Malucchi company, dedicating to specific creations and articles for the world of Pet, that have always been a great love of his. Our business grows, is articulated, and creates connections and collaborations all over the world, creating a new market segment that responds to increasingly growing requests and needs, even of well-known celebrities. At the end of the nineties, Riccardo exhibited his first collection, "MALUCCHI MADE IN ITALY", at the Nuremberg International Fair, arousing excitement and interest. In fact, for the first time the great Tuscan artisan traditions, of which he and my grandfather were purposeful exponents, become a real luxurious art in the form of prestigious accessories for dogs of all sizes and types. From that moment on, the Malucchi brand evolved exponentially, up to stand among the first producers of world craftsmanship in the luxury market for the pet industry, meeting the attention and taste of an increasingly quality-conscious clientele of unique and distinctive creations. With my entry, the Malucchi brand has passed to the third generation, which interprets the present era and what will be, enhancing our luggage of experience. My declination of our activity goes in the direction of a production that combines excellence, identity, design, and ethics in the choice of materials and the attention to every aspect of the production processes of the articles. We are using communication codes and dynamics of development and functionality, focused on our dogs and the relationship we have with them. I put all my love for dogs and my daily experiences with these special creatures. The scope is to give a new identity to retail, which becomes a communicative medium that primarily transmits our value system, the idea of an eco-sustainable world, and a constant balance between quality and production processes, with the priority of making the daily life of our much-loved pets extremely comfortable and functional in harmony with style, luxury and elegance. Choosing our items, or every expression of the Malucchi brand, means becoming part of our universe of meaning, experiences, and values firmly rooted in Tuscany. My commitment is to respond to ever-changing needs for functionality, expanding the range of items in the catalog - which currently includes collars, leashes, and other accessories - and enriching it with pet kennels and designer bowls for dogs, made with quality materials such as marble. The Malucchi brand is therefore a fusion between the centuries-old know-how of the ancient Florentine artisans, family values, innovation, and evolution to give excellence to our beloved pets.
