Price reduced for quicker sale 6️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ obo

⭐15 year old Dutch Warmlood / QH cross mare taped at 15.2hh.
Has been ridden both English and western, has experience in the arena and on the trails. Very good girl with such a fun personality.
💖Loves hanging with her person and has done a lot of liberty work and trick training. Knows how to smile, pick things up on command, come to the mounting block, and spin in a circle.
Would excel in western or classical dressage with some more training. Has shown in western dressage and ranch riding in the past. Has also been used for intermediate, lunge line lessons, and pony playdates.
🐴Needs a little more work in the arena to be considered finished or fancy broke, so not for a total beginner.

Fun showing opportunity for 2025!

It’s that time of year when we get all excited about planning for 2025! 🎉 We know, we know… it seems like it’s still a ways off, but it’s closer than you think! So, here’s our first big announcement:

We’ve hinted a few times this year about wanting to offer more schooling show opportunities for our riders, and we’re thrilled to finally announce that next year, we’ll be hosting a BUCKLE UP! Ranch Horse Schooling Show Buckle Series (say that three times fast! 😄). We’ll have 3 schooling shows throughout the season (April, August, and September), and each one will be paired with a Friday clinic—so you can learn before you show!

At the end of the series, we’ll award high-point buckles to those who attend all three shows! 🏆 This is your chance to showcase your skills and give your horse some great exposure in a relaxed, supportive environment. Pair these with the shows coming to the Park in June (Pacific Northwest Ranch Horse Association) and July (AQHA) and you'll have a well-rounded ranch horse show season!

Dates are still being finalized, but help us spread the word about these exciting events coming in 2025!

‼️ Here’s your good minded, puppy dog personality unicorn that everyone is looking for! ⭐️

13 years old gelding, AQHA “All Reddy Crowned”
Sedar is a great minded, well rounded horse that could do any job you throw at him. Would make an excellent youth mount and could do 4H or WAHSET!! More whoa than go, safe for any level of rider!! Has been a family rope horse the last few years and has a reining/ranch riding foundation. Has some showing under his belt already and is currently training to tune up his ranch riding skills.

We had such a blast showing at the NW Reining Association this weekend! Saturday was full of some personal bests for the girls! Breslyn and Sambo got 1st with a 71.5 in their pattern and Kamryn and Gable got 2nd in their ranch rail class! I am SOOOO proud of how hard these girls have worked to improve their scores. They just continue to get better with each show. 🤩

Great ranch rail tips!!!!!!

Ranch Rail tips
-Look up and ahead of you. Glance across the arena. Be aware of tight situations and unruly horses.
-Go deep into your corners to create room between you and the horse in front of you.
- Pass on the inside only.
-When asked to reverse, look around and see if you need to make a small reverse circle, or a large one —-the idea is to create room.
-When there is an upward change of gait, let the person in front of you pick up that gait first.
-Don’t make a large circle, or cut across the arena in an attempt to create space.
-Always look up and around to see where other exhibitors are, so you don’t cut someone off.
- Don’t hurry into a gait. The judge doesn’t expect an immediate/instant gait change. 5 seconds isn’t that long to wait before you perform the next gait.
-Extended gaits are extended, not FAST.

Giddy Up Riding Lessons

Instructor Heather James focuses on beginner and intermediate riders. Students are not only taught in the saddle but also proper horsemanship on the ground when grooming, tacking up, and daily handling. When a student shows interest, ground work is also incorporated into the lesson program. Lessons are one on one instead of in a group in order to spend the time most effectively by giving undivided attention to that student’s specific needs. Beginners start off doing lessons on the lunge line with the primary focus being on developing a strong, independent seat and learning not to depend solely on their reins. Each student progresses at their own rate and lessons are very personalized to benefit each individual rider.
