While dogs have been in my life since childhood the passion kicked in when our family began to foster dogs in 2014. Providing a place to rest for a few days until adoption occurred turned into being an ongoing foster family to many dogs beyond just that one. After adopting our own Pit bull we began to advocate for the breed as well as to show that all shelter dogs can be the best family dogs out t

here. Today we rescue, foster, adopt out, donate money and time as well as help with transports. Off The Leash was born out of an idea to combine selling healthy treats while advocating a mission.....give a voice to the voiceless. Wishing all of our four legged friends and their pawrents the Happiest of Thanksgiving! We continue to be grateful for all the visits in 2024 where you gave your support but most importantly you shared your stories of rescue and adoption. Those stories are why the even started and I will continue to keep promoting the mission even without a truck on the road. Saving one dog may not change the world but surely that one dogs world has been changed forever. 🦃🩵🐶

Feeling a little blue these days as the holidays approach with the reality that our Santa visits won’t be on the schedule. I am hoping that some other small business owner out there sees the possibilities in a custom built truck for their business and perhaps putting Santa on it again!

And that’s a wrap to our Halloween Doggie events 😩. We saw so many (and adorable) dogs in costumes. What a day at one of our fav local breweries who always welcomes us.
